The USA President Donald Trump has the reputation of making statements which create controversies but this time he has created a controversy by indulging in promotions of Goya, a food brand.

The brand Goya was already trending on Twitter as many users wanted to boycott it in view of the fact that its CEO Robert Unanue praised the USA President Trump last week. Goya foods are liked by Latino Americans a lot and it is the biggest Hispanic owned company but the community feels that Donald Trump has a racist attitude towards them. Even a huge number of Americans feel that the government policies towards Hispanic community are discriminatory.

Donald Trump’s photo was posted on the social media handles in which he is seen smiling while sitting in his office with many Goya products displayed on his table.

Later, Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka also promoted the brand and she was seen holding a can of black beans.

Ivanka Trump shared it on Twitter with the caption written in English and Spanish, “If it’s Goya, it has to be good. Si es Goya, tiene que ser bueno.”

Madhavan Has A Great Response To The Fan Who Asked Him How He Lightened His Skin Colour

Madhavan is undoubtedly one of the finest Indian actors that we have seen on the big screen and what makes him class apart is the fact that his popularity is not limited to a certain part of India and he is famous and loved in almost each part of the country. It’s quite sad that he has not worked much in Hindi movies and focused more in the south but still whatever Hindi movies he has done, they are quite amazing.

What brings Madhavan closer to the Indian audiences is his simple and sober yet attractive look with no six pack abs to flaunt but he takes a lot of care of his fitness. He took to acting in the year 1996 as he worked in TV serials, endorsements, etc. but his big break came when he was selected by famous director Mani Ratnam for his Tamil movie “Alaipayuthey” (2000) which was a big hit at the box-office.

Madhavan is also engaged in various social activities and he is pretty active on social media networks. Recently, he took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate those kids who scored good in the board exams and at one fell swoop, tried to cheer up those who had not get good marks by telling them they he himself got only 58 percent. In the tweet, Madhavan also posted an old photo of himself from one of his films.

News Anchor Catches Her Front Tooth That Fell During Live Reporting & Handles Situation Like A Pro

The news channels have become an important part of our lives as they make us aware of what is happening in the world but their job is not as easy as it seems to be. People think that the news anchors only have to read the news while sitting in an air conditioned studio but the truth is that live reporting is quite tough as there are no retakes to correct their mistakes so they have to be very careful. There are times when things get very complicated and it is very difficult to deal with the situation; at such instances, only a smart news anchor is able to manage things in a proper manner.

Marichka Padalko, a news anchor who can be seen live on Ukrainian TV presenting news came across a weird situation but she handled it in quite a classy way. She was reading news as usual when her tooth dropped out of her mouth; however, it’s indeed creditable on her part that she didn’t react, caught the falling teeth very calmly as if nothing happened and continued doing her work.

Later she posted the video of the incident on her Instagram account and also wrote about the times when she faced bizarre situations earlier and also explained how her tooth broke.

She told that her little daughter hit her teeth with a metal clock while she was playing with it because of which her half-teeth broke down. She got it repaired but didn’t follow the advice of her dentist as she was biting the food from her front tooth while her dentist asked her not to do so.

She faced a weird situation in 2013 as well when she was doing live reporting and her hubby was arrested during a protest. She also said that she thought the incident would not be noticed by anyone but viewers are very attentive.

Ben Stokes Played A Ridiculous Shot For Six Against West Indies In Second Test Match, See Video

The world is now in the unlocking mode despite the fact that the cases of coronavirus are still on the rise. The good thing for cricket lovers is that England and West Indies are playing a series of three test matches in which West Indies has already won the first test match at Agaes Bowl.

The second test match is being played at Old Trafford, England, in which the visitors decided to bowl first after winning the toss. While the Jason Holder led team was in no mood to give England any chance of scoring much, the hosts were also very determined to bounce back in the second test match. Though England lost early wickets, Ben Stokes (176) and Dom Sibley (120) brought the team in a strong position by hitting centuries. England declared their first innings for 469/9 and West Indies was at 32/1.

Ben Stokes is considered as one of the finest all-rounders of the present times and during his knock of 176, he played a shot which was no less than ridiculous but gave maximum runs. He played this shot in the 115th over of the innings and the bowler was Alzarri Joseph. A full-length delivery was bowled by the pacer which was lofted effortlessly over the long-on by Ben Stokes. The shot was played with ease but the timing was perfect which made it possible for the ball to clear the boundaries for a six. England cricket also shared the clip showing the shot and called it ridiculous.

Harsha Bhogle is one of the most favorite cricket commentators of the Indian cricket lovers and some of his fans also call him the voice of the Indian cricket. The commentator is celebrating his 59th birthday today (July 19) and not just the celebs but common public as well took to social media to send him greetings.

Ravichandran Ashwin, the Indian spinner, has been quite active on social media nowadays due to the lockdown which was imposed on account of the coronavirus pandemic. Harsha started his career at the age of 19 at All India Radio and he is the first Indian commentator who got the invitation from Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Radio for the India-Australia series 1992. While he was with ABC during the 1992 World Cup, in the 1996 and the 1999 World Cup events, he was associated with BBC.

Amid the coronavirus outbreak, Ashwin has conducted many Q&A sessions, indulged in live Instagram chat sessions, etc. because of which Harsha took a jibe at him.

Ashwin was supposed to play for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2020 which got postponed because of COVID-19. However, now it is being said that the league may take place in UAE in the months of September-October later this year.

Chris Evans & Other Avengers Stars Praise 6 Yrs Old Real Superhero Who Saved His Sister From A Dog

An elder brother is no less than a blessing in disguise and this is particularly true in case of the girl whose 6 years old brother named Bridger saved her from a ferocious dog. Here a noteworthy point is that the boy himself is quite little, i.e., just six, but he didn’t mind putting his life at risk for the sake of his loving sister.

The unpleasant incident took place on July 9 when a dog made attempts to chase and attack the little girl; nevertheless, her brother came in between and got bitten by the dog a number of times on his face and head. No matter how much pain and injuries he had to suffer, he made certain that the dog could not harm his sister. As he got a chance, he ran with her to ensure her safety. Bridger was taken to a specialist plastic surgeon where he got 90 stitches and now he is at home during the recovery stage.

Nikki Walker, the aunt of Bridger, wrote about the whole incident on social media because she wished that her nephew’s favorite Avengers stars motivate him for the valor he has shown. She also urged others to share it as much as possible so that it got much exposure and her nephew’s favorite superheroes could send messages for him. What is highly creditable on the part of the little boy is that when he saw danger on his sister, he thought that if someone had to lose life, it would be he only. Needless to say, even at such a little age, Bridger has proved that he is the real superhero with his courageous act, at least for his sister.

On July 9th, my six year old nephew Bridger saved his little sister’s life by standing between her and a charging dog. After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe. He later said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.” After receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon, he’s finally resting at home. Nikki Walker’s post worked wonders as Chris Evans who has played Captain America sent a recorded message for the little boy. He appreciated him as well as promised to send a genuine Captain America shield for Bridger. The brave kid got a call from the Iron Man aka Robert Downey Jr. who called Bridger a rockstar. Robert promised to give a surprise to Bridger on his next birthday and he also added that it would be better than the shield promised by Chris Evans.

Nikki posted the video of the conversation on her Instagram handle and she also informed that Bridger’s birthday has been celebrated not so long ago so it will take a while in finding out what the surprise is:

Coronavirus Treatment: How Much Coverage is Enough?

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the number of growing cases, the treatment cost is the greatest concern among the common people. Even if you are not tested positive, the out-of-pocket expenses starting from the corona testing and all can burn a big hole into your pocket. A great relief that health insurance providers in India cover COVID-19. However, you should always keep a check on the list of inclusions provided by your insurer, when it comes to covering COVID-19, in order to keep your finances intact.

Coronavirus Treatment and Health Insurance Coverage

It is not certain that how much coverage is enough for treating COVID-19. While there is a cap on lab tests, the hospitalisation expenses can go beyond one’s expectations, depending on the condition of the patient. However, as per the recent claims filed, coronavirus treatment can cost between Rs 50,000 to 4 lakh.

Let us take an example to understand medical insurance for individuals. Mr. Sinha, a 53 years old resident of Delhi, was tested positive for COVID – 19 on 25th May 2020. On the morning of 26th May, he was admitted to a reputed hospital in Delhi for the treatment. He was discharged from the hospital on June 7th, 2020 after his successful treatment that went on for 13 days. The total bill of the hospital came around Rs 3.33 lakh.

Mr. Sinha was fully relaxed before paying the bill as he was insured with a medical insurance for individuals with the sum insured of Rs 10 Lakh. He was quite sure that the entire amount will be taken care of by his health insurance provider and he will not have to pay even a single penny for his treatment. This is because his health insurance was not having any clause of co-payment. However, at the time of claim settlement with the hospital’s TPA desk, he was shocked to listen that his insurance provider will pay only Rs 2.10 lakh of the total bill amount and rest he has to pay from his pocket. From the remaining Rs 1.23 lakh approximately 40% was billed under the column of ‘Medical Consumables’.

Like many of us, even Mr. Sinha was unaware of the fact that the health insurance plans do not cover the cost of medical consumables that are used for the treatment of disease or some condition in the hospital. Most of the time, these consumables are 10% of the total medical cost but in the case of a novel coronavirus, this cost has increased to approximately 40% of the total medical bill. This is because, in the treatment of COVID – 19 the list of non-payable items or medical consumables increases as it includes N-95 mask, PPE kits, shoe covers, and

Coronavirus and Rise in Hospitalisation Expenses

In case of hospitalization in this time of novel coronavirus pandemic, even those who are not tested positive has to pay thousands of rupees from their pocket as the insurance policies are not willing to pay for the cost of medical Personal Protective Equipment or PPE as they are considered as non-payable items. In this way, the COVID– 19 patients have to pay approximately half of their medical bills under these medical consumables, and non-COVID- 19 patients have to pay approximately one-fourth of their bills during their hospitalization. The reason for the same is the highly contagious nature of this coronavirus. Due to this, the hospitals have made it compulsory for all its staff to wear PPE kits, which indirectly adds to patients’ pockets.

Moreover, it is not only the cost of PPE kit, but other medical consumables are not calculated in the health insurance plans. Along with PPE kit, the use of other surgical accessories such as crape bandages, slippers, tissue paper, disposable gloves, foot covers, masks, syringes, etc has also added up to the cost.

The compulsory quarantine period of 14 days and mandatory social distancing also has reduced the number of patients in one ward. The wards which earlier have beds for 20 patients now consume 10 people for maintaining social distancing. This has also increased the cost of treatment. Therefore, to keep a check on your hospital bills, you should check with your insurance provider about the inclusions and exclusions in your medical insurance for individuals.

As per the guidelines of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, it is entirely the decision of the insurer to exclude or include medical consumables like PPE kits and accordingly charge a premium. It is observed that most of the medical insurance for individuals with even low premium cover the charges of some of the medical consumables and if the plan is priced well, then the insurer is covering almost all types of accommodation and a maximum number of consumables that are needed in the treatment during hospitalization.

The Indian government and many departments are leaving no stone unturned in imparting awareness about the virus and requesting people to follow the safety guidelines such as not going out until necessary, washing hands regularly, wearing mask, practice social distancing, etc.

The Tiruppur Police, Tamil Nadu, came up with a quite unique way of asking people to maintain social distancing as they got the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni involved in their campaign, though not literally.

The police department has made a tweet in which they have posted a photoshopped image of MS Dhoni who is seen chatting with another player while keeping distance and both of them are wearing masks. They used the initials of MSD for giving the message, i.e., “Maintain Social Distancing”.

Yet, these funds are safer options and are preferred by investors since they invest in securities that generate fixed income, such as treasury bills, government securities, corporate bonds, commercial papers and so on. There are nominal credit and interest rate linked risks while investing.
  • NPS- The National Pension System is one of the most effective investment avenues for the long haul. This is a safe investment product where the minimum annual contribution threshold now stands at Rs. 1,000. This is a mixture of corporate bonds, equity, liquid funds, FDs (fixed deposits) and government funds among other types. You can choose on the basis of your risk appetite, as to the amount of money that will be invested in equities via NPS.
  • PPF- The Public Provident Fund is another safe and long-term investment option for investors. You have a lock-in period of 15 years although partial withdrawals are allowed at specific intervals. The compounding of your money reaps you rich returns while the principal and interest are backed by the Government guarantee. Interest rates are reviewed for PPF on a quarterly basis by the Government.
  • FDs- Fixed Deposits are arguably the most preferred investment avenues in the country and are safer than most investment channels. Under the DICGC (deposit insurance and credit guarantee corporation) regulations, every depositor will have insurance for his/her funds up to a maximum of Rs. 5 lakh. This rule has been made effective from the 4th of February, 2020. The rate of interest earned will be taxable since it will be added to your income.
  • SCSS- Senior Citizens’ Saving Scheme- Another great option for retirees, SCSS (Senior Citizens’ Saving Scheme) can be availed by investors who are above the age of 60 from their bank or post office. It has a 5-year duration which may be increased by another 3 years post maturity. The maximum limit for investment is Rs. 15 lakh and more than one account can be opened. Interest rates are payable on a quarterly basis and are taxable as well. Senior citizens are eligible for deductions up to Rs. 50,000 in a financial year under the Section 80TTB for the interest earned on SCSS.
  • Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana – PMVVY scheme caters to senior citizens above the age of 60 and gives them assured annual returns. It ensures pension income which is payable on a quarterly, monthly, half-yearly or yearly basis as chosen. Minimum amounts hover at Rs. 1,000 every month with a maximum of Rs. 9,250 every month. Rs. 15 lakh is the maximum investment that can be made into this scheme which has a tenor of 10 years.
  • Real Estate– Real estate has always been a preferred asset class for investors owing to its ability to ensure superior returns over a period of time. Property values apart, the possibilities of earning rental income are also tremendous, if the location is good. This makes for a good investment by all means.
  • Gold- Another favorite investment option for Indian investors, gold has always held its own over the years. Gold has its own allure and may appreciate considerably in value with the passage of time. Many banking institutions sell gold coins while there are several gold investment schemes available as well, including owning gold via paper gold ownership. This is a more cost-effective means of investment via gold ETFs. These investments take place on stock exchanges like the National Stock Exchange (NSE) or Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) with gold being the key underlying asset. Investments in sovereign gold bonds are another option for paper gold ownership.

Many of these investments are fixed-income generating assets while some are non-income generating but have the potential to earn superlative returns in the long run. Rahkeem Cornwall’s Photo With His Teammate Has Become A Meme Due To Crazy Height Gap

The ongoing test series between West Indies and England can be called a historic one as it is being played during the coronavirus pandemic. No spectators are allowed in the stadium as gathering of crowd in the stadium can lead to spread of the virus.

In the three test match series, both the teams have won one game each and the third test match is going to decide the fate of the series. In the third test match which is being played at Old Trafford cricket ground, Manchester, the English team scored 369 in their first innings and 226/2 in the second innings while West Indies crumbled at the score of 197 in their first innings and in the second innings, they have already lost 2 wickets for the score of 10 runs. Two days are still left in the test match and the visitors need to achieve the target of 389 in order to win the match as well as the series.

For the third match, West Indies brought in Rahkeem Cornwall, the 6 ft 6 inch tall well-built spinner in place of pacer Alzarri Joseph but the former was not able to do anything significant with the ball. Rahkeem debuted against India in Aug 2019 and this test match is the third match of his career. The second test match he played was against Afghanistan which was played at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Against Afghanistan, Rahkeem performed brilliantly and took 7 wickets in the first innings and 10 in the whole match because of which he was adjudged as Man of the Match. Rahkeem plays for St Lucia Zouks in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and in the CPL 2019, he was noticed by everyone because of his hard-hitting ability, though his team didn’t even go into play-offs.

Rahkeem is certainly not going through a good time as in the first innings of the third match, he bowled 27 overs and gave 85 runs but was not able to take even a single wicket. The story remained the same in the second innings as he bowled 19 overs and conceded 79 runs but remained wicketless.

However at the moment, one photo is going viral on the Internet in which Rahkeem is seen standing at the slips with one of his teammates. This pic has become a fodder for meme makers and netizens are pointing towards the height difference of the two players.
