Diwali, the festival of lights, is just around the corner and Indian markets are packed with customers who are all set to shop for the festival.
One of the products on which Indians spent heavily on Diwali time is undoubtedly crackers, which prompt the cracker manufacturers and sellers to find new and different ways to market them.
This year, a unique and innovating way has been devised to market crackers and this is something no Indian can resist.
The cracker boxes having surgical strikes cover pasted on them are being liked most by the customers.
What’s more, the firecrackers that have been named after some important politicians have also taken the market by storm but most amazingly, the best sellers are the crackers being named after PM Modi.

According to sellers, this has been done considering the public mood. A local seller in Varanasi told TOI,
“There is Modi Bomb and Surgical Strike rocket as well.”

Amazing, isn’t it?
India carried out surgical strikes across the LoC after the Uri attacks in which 18 Indian soldiers lost their lives. This move became necessary because of the increased infiltration attempts conducted by the terrorists.
Firecracker sellers have also used the Samajwadi party crisis for their benefit and if a visit is made in markets of Lucknow and Allahabad, then one can easily find Ram Gopal Mirchi, Amar Singh Phuljhadi, Modi bomb and many others.
What a wonderful and fresh idea!
