The differences in the Indian media houses have been pretty visible for the past couple of years now, as they have criticized and slammed each other on almost every issue. The latest topic of discussion is the one-day ban imposed on news channel NDTV India by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry of India, as the ministry feels that the channel “revealed strategic sensitive details” during the coverage of Pathankot attacks.
Some are keeping mum on the matter while few are openly protesting the move and there are many who are even supporting this move of the government as well, calling it absolutely correct. One of them is the owner of Zee TV, Dr. Subhash Chandra.
Yes, you read it right! Dr. Subhash Chandra took to Twitter to support the government’s step on this matter and slammed NDTV India and Editors’ Guild in a series of tweets. His tweets got a good response from Twitterati who didn’t waste much time in expressing their own opinion.
