Unexpected demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes has already taken up a lot of social media space. Yes, since 8th of November, netizens just can’t stop talking about this note ban. Some are lauding the PM while some are criticizing him like hell.
Amidst all this, a photo of PM Modi’s mom Heeraben standing in the bank queue vent viral. Yes, even though she isn’t able to walk, she came on the wheelchair and got her 9 old notes of Rs 500 exchanged i.e. Rs 4,500. She was Raisan village’s Oriental Bank Of Commerce Bank.
Heeraben filled up that form, put her thumb impression and got her money exchanged. At the end, Modi’s mom was seen happily posing with the new Rs 2000 note. After this, Twitterati was flooded with responses for his mother.
Some were very happy and felt that she is an inspiration for many people cribbing to stand in queues, while some slammed her and said that it was just a publicity stunt like Rahul Gandhi.
