Sushma Swaraj, the External Affairs Minister of India, has once again shown how sensitive she is towards the problems of Indians, despite the fact that she is not well and undergoing treatment for kidney failure.
She has asked the Indian Embassy in Dubai to submit a report about Jagannathan Selvaraj, who walked nearly 1000 kms to Dubai court as he is really desperate for returning home.
Here’s what she tweeted, “I have asked for a report from Indian Embassy in Dubai. Indian Walked 1,000 Km To Dubai Court”
Jagannathan Selvaraj is from Tiruchirappalli and he has been facing the traffic, hot weather, sandstorms and fatigue in hope to return his home, something for which he has been making hard efforts from the past two years.
It takes 4 hours (2 hours each side) for Jagannathan to reach court for hearings. For many months now, he has been staying in a public park in Sonapur.
After Sushma’s tweet, Twitter was flooded with praises and appreciation for her and undoubtedly, she deserves it, doesn’t she?
