Irfan Won Twitter With Kickass Reply To A Fan Who Asked Him Not To Name His Son Dawood Or Yakub

Indian cricketer and captain of Baroda Ranji team, Irfan Pathan and his wife Safa Baig have been blessed with a baby boy on December 19 and since then, social media networks have been flooded with messages of congratulations for him. Irfan and his elder brother Yusuf, both have played for the national team and they both are wonderful all-rounders.

One of Irfan’s fans posted a tweet congratulating the cricketer on becoming a father but at the same time, he also cautioned him and made a taunting remark too when he asked him not to name his son Daud (Dawood) and Yakub. Dawood is a notorious criminal and underworld don while Yakub was executed by Indian government as he was found to have been involved in anti-India activities.

This is what Irfan’s fan, Divyanshu Raj tweeted, “Big Congrats @IrfanPathan On being blessed from a baby boy! But bhai uska nam #Daud ya phir #Yakub mt rkh dena! This world is Ridiculous!”

Irfan has always been a cool-headed person and this time also he handled this tweet in a very cool manner and replied that whatever name is chosen for the baby, one thing is for sure that the son will serve the nation like his father and his uncle (Yusuf).

Later, Irfan posted a pic on Twitter and revealed the he named his son “Imran”, “This name is close to our hearts n family….The name is IMRAN:) #Imrankhanpathan @iamyusufpathan”

Just recently, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were trolled a lot for naming their baby boy Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi. Taimur was a very cruel king, known for his atrocities and thus, Twitter trolled and slammed the couple.

In another incident, cricketer Mohammad Shami was compelled to shut up the Twitter troll, as they were raising objections on Shami’s wife wearing sleeveless gown in their marriage.
