“Raees” is doing pretty well, not only in India but even internationally. Yes, this action drama has been well received by the global audience too.
Already, Raees has crossed 75 crores in the domestic market but at the same time, it is busy breaking records in the overseas Box Office as well. It has not broken any small record in the international market, but has broken that of Dangal’s; can you believe it?
We are talking about the UK market, wherein it defeated Dangal on the very first day! The SRK starrer enjoyed a great start in the UK market and it minted around £126,000 on the 1st day and that too just from 90 locations. On the other hand, Dangal had earned £121,000 and that too from 152 locations.
Talking about the US-Canada market, Raees had done really well and had collected around $375,000 from 275 locations. Dangal was once again left behind because it minted just $328,227 and even the locations were more i.e. 331.
Although SRK broke Aamir’s record, it couldn’t break that of Salman’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo or Sultan.
We hope Raees attains heights of success and breaks records in India too. It is a superb movie and deserves all the appreciation.
