There is no denying the fact that Aamir Khan’s latest movie “Dangal” was the biggest hit of 2016 and the actors other than Aamir also got a lot of appreciation for their performances, especially the two actresses- Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh who played the characters of Phogat sisters.
They are now famous as Dangal girls and both of them have stated that they will always be thankful to Aamir for providing them with such a great opportunity. However, both of them seem to adore someone else more than Aamir and he is none other than the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
While giving an interview to news daily, Fatima disclosed about her fan-girl moment with SRK which was almost creepy to the extreme. She told that she managed to keep herself calm and cool upon meeting SRK but things turned weird when she got a chance to touch the actor while he cracked a joke.
Fatima said,
“Aamir Khan was showing SRK our wrestling videos, and he said something funny. I took the chance and touched him while laughing at the joke. It was borderline creepy, but for me it was a huge moment.”
Well, Sanya too had her fan-girl moment when she shared her own version of Shah Rukh’s Mitwa. In the video posted by her, she can be seen standing in the middle of stadium and trying to pose in SRK’s iconic style, stretching her arms, just like we saw Shah Rukh in “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna”. The video broke the Internet as it was shared by many fans and fan-clubs of SRK. Sanya’s happiness was quite visible on her face while Fatima was quite envious.
When she was asked about upcoming projects, Fatima said,
“I’m available and ready for anything exciting even if it’s a non-commercial film or something to do with sports again. I love Ranbir Kapoor whether it’s in Barfi or Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.”
We hope that these girls get a chance to work with King Khan soon.
