Today, Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance made BIG announcements with regards to Jio. Yes, he announced a jackpot in the form of Jio Prime; this indeed added a lot of excitement to the celebration of 100 million customers. Since the New Year offer is going to expire on the 31st of March 2017, users were worried about what will happen to their free services after that, but with the introduction of Jio Prime, all problems are solved.
The company announced that existing Jio users can enroll for Jio Prime services between 1st March to 31st March 2017 by going to the nearby Jio Store or through Jio.com and MyJio app.
The user has to pay a registration fees of Rs 99 (One time) and after that, he has to pay Rs 303 per month (For 12 months i.e), to extend the New Year offer till 31st of March 2018.
However, the main confusion among Prime users was how much data they would be getting after paying an amount of Rs 303 every month. Don’t worry, we are here to clarify things for you. Let us simplify the offer for you…
Offer valid from – 1st April 2017 to 31st March 2018
Amount that has to be paid for Prime membership – Rs 99 (One time cost).
Amount you need to pay every month – Rs 303.
Voice calls- Free till 31st of March 2018
How much data will I get?
Since Prime membership is the extension of the existing Jio New Year offer, the data offered will also be same i.e. you will get unlimited data. FUP limit is applicable and so, the data would be restricted to 1 GB per day, just like you were getting now. This means you will be getting 30 GB of 4G data every month; good deal for Rs 303, isn’t it? If you calculate it day wise, it is around Rs 10 per day; this offer is a BONUS. Who offers free 1 GB data and free voice calls for Rs 10 per day!
Jio Prime offer has already killed the competition in the market; no doubt, more and more users will switch to this network to get this jackpot offer.
