BJP took its time in deciding the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh after an emphatic win in the state and finally it has chosen Mahant Yogi Adityanath as the CM of the state. There were many big names which were fighting for the post of the CM but Yogi Adityanath has emerged as the best choice for the party.
Yogi Adityanath is basically from Pauri Garhwal and he is a B.Sc graduate from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna University, Srinagar, Garhwal. He is a BJP Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur since 1998 and was just 26 years old when he won the election for the 12th Lok Sabha. His selection as the CM of UP may not go down well with the opposition parties as he belongs to the saffron brigade and as per the opposition parties, his selection may strengthen the communal forces.
We can’t expect Twitter to remain silent on such an important matter and as expected, Yogi Adityanath has been trolled by some as well as supported by few on the micro-blogging site! Check out some of the selected tweets!
