Well, according to reports it is said that Aamir is working on the film’s marketing strategy. He wants the promotions to be different and want them to focus on empowerment of women rather than wrestling.
Aamir is of the opinion that the wrestling part has been given too much focus in ‘Sultan’ and hence, for ‘Dangal’, he wants another angle. Reports also say that this might have been the reason for Aamir shooting video with onscreen daughters Sanya Malhotra, who plays Babita Kumari and Fatima Sana Shaikh, who plays the role of Geeta Phogat in the movie.
Even the 2nd poster of the film ‘Dangal’ showed 4 onscreen daughters of Aamir and the caption said “Mhaari chhoriyan chhoro se kam hai ke’.
Aamir is looking for a unique element for promoting the movie so that it becomes popular and doesn’t look similar to ‘Sultan’. Reports say that Aamir is working very hard on getting something new each time.
The movie is based on the life of a Haryana wrestler named Mahavir Singh Phogat who had an aim of making his daughters champion wrestlers. He gave everything possible to his daughters so that they could live their life their way.
