An incident at New Delhi’s Rajiv Chowk Metro Station has left everyone in shock. What happened was that on the 9th of April, an adult video started playing on one of those LED screens there (Meant for commercials) and it continued for around a minute.
People failed to understand how this adult video was displayed on the big screen; some of them recorded the clip on their mobile phones and made it super-viral on social media.
Currently, the incident is being investigated by a special committee that has been formed by DMRC i.e. Delhi Metro Railway Corporation Limited.
Delhi Police and CISF stated that they aren’t aware of this matter because they didn’t receive any official complaint as such.
DMRC released an official statement that read,
“The LED screen was under commissioning and testing by a private contractor and same is still under commissioning. The work is still not completed. We will check all the details of the testing and commissioning process of the contractor to check whether any such clip was played on the LED screen at Rajiv Chowk station, and take adequate safeguards/ action.”
