However, later she removed the pics, stating that she’s “upset” with clash at the “place which is so dear” to the actress. Moreover, Hema Malini also asserted that she would head to Mathura if needed.

As reported, a revolutionary group named Swadhin Bharat Vidhik Satyagrah’s members clashed with cops with the intend of finishing off elections while evicting many squatters from a public park. They had dangerous weapons like handmade guns, grenades, swords and knives, as reported by NDTV.

It was natural for Hema Malini to be lashed out by Twitterati for posting pics of her upcoming movie when there was a clash in her constituency.

However, BJP quickly defended the actress as the spokesperson Sambit Patra stated that she’s “extremely sensitive”, adding “I’m sure Hema Malini ji will go to Mathura, she has expressed her grief over what has happened. Let’s not divert from the issue.”

As per Javed Ahmed, state DGP, encroachers did “unprovoked” firing, pelting stones as well as assaulting cops with lathis when they reached the spot. He said, “The police teams reorganised themselves. After two shelters were vacated, the protesters set afire gas cylinders and munition stored there which led to several explosions. 22 rioters were killed in the violence. These include 11 persons who were killed in a fire started by the agitators.”

“Our two young officers laid down their lives while protecting the law and with a heavy heart we bid adieu to them,” he further added. “We have recovered 47 guns, six rifles and 178 hand grenades from the area” and “124 people have been arrested for creating disturbances. Another 196, including 116 women, have been arrested under 151 CrPC,” stated DGP.
