1.Bajirao Mastani V/s Dilwale
18th of December 2015! Yes, this is the date when two biggies, ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ clashed with each other. We all know Bajirao Mastani won the battle convincingly beating SRK’s Dilwale!
2.Lagaan V/s Gadar
The release of ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Gadar’ on 15th of June 2001 is considered to be the biggest clash in Bollywood till date. On one side there was Lagaan, which was nominated for Oscar and on the other side, there was ‘Gadar’, which broke all records of box office collections.
3.Son of Sardar V/s Jab Tak Hai Jaan

There were rumors of discrepancies between Shahrukh Khan and Ajay Devgan after the release of 2 big hits, ‘Son of Sardar’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ on the 13th of November 2013. Although both the movies made an entry to the 100 crore club, Jab Tak Hai Jaan proved to secure a better position than Son of Sardar.
4.Om Shanti Om V/s Saawariya

On 9th November 2007, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali released ‘Saawariya’, introducing Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. However, this must have been his biggest mistake of life as he launched it with Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Om Shanti Om’. However, in front of ‘Om Shanti Om’, the film failed miserably.
5.Veer Zara V/s Aitraaz

The release of Aitraaz and Veer Zara was seen during Diwali, on the 12th of November 2004. Both the films became equally popular on the Box office. However, in terms of collection, Veer Zara scored better.
6.Jaaneman V/s Don

On 20th of October 2006, Jaaneman and Don clashed each other. In this competition, Shahrukh Khan proved to be the king with his film ‘Don’, while Jaaneman had to face the brunt of failure.
7.Dil V/s Ghayal

The release of these films in the year 1990 was also considered to be among the biggest Bollywood clashes. Both the films gained immense success. While Ghayal proved to be a trend setter, Dil got popularity as a romantic movie.
8.Ghatak V/s Raja Hindustani

For the 2nd time, Aamir Khan and Sunny Deol competed against each other, with the release of ‘Ghatak’ and ‘Raja Hindustani’ in the year 1996. On one hand, there was ‘Raja Hindustani’, a romantic Drama, while on the other hand, there was ‘Ghatak’, an action drama. Although both the films were popular, Raja Hindustani managed to go a step ahead.
9.Kuch Kuch Hota Hai V/s Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan

The release of Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was seen on the 16th Of October 1998. No one would have imagine the Amitabh starrer film falling flat against Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. This film went ahead of ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ in terms of money as well as in terms of awards.
10.Mohabbatein V/s Mission Kashmir

Vidhu Vinod Chopra took the decision of releasing Mission Kashmir along with Mohabbatein. However, in front of King Khan, no one could save the fate of Mission Kashmir. Mohabbatein stood out to be quite successful.
11.Mohenjo Daro V/s Rustom!
2 Biggies have entered the battlefield yet again and are sure to give tough competition to each other. It is a nail-biting situation as no one knows which movie is going to lead ‘Rustom’ or ‘Mohenjo Daro’. Both movies have big stars i.e. Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan and both enjoy an equally huge fan base. Moreover, since it is a long weekend, people have a good chance to watch both the flicks, thereby keeping the collections balanced.
