2017 has served us with some amazing Bollywood movies and the same trend will be carried forward in 2018 as well. We just got our hands on list of movies to be released in 2019 & after reading it, we feel as if it’s going to be a long long wait. We need to wait for one whole year to be able to enjoy the entertainment dose in 2019.
Movie buffs rate movies not on the basis of collections, but on the basis of content & concept. A movie can be rated good or bad through its story, content and star cast, combined with its direction and music. So we can be assured that from now on, films will focus on quality rather than mirch-masala.
Well, even though 2017 had some glitches in its radar of big movies and releases, we can expect a lot from 2019. Here’s a list of all the most important and biggest projects that will be releasing or have tentative dates to release in the year of 2019.

A guru-chela duo coming on the big screens with an action-packed movie that will definitely break quite the records, after all, it is all happening under the Yash Raj film’s roof. YashRaj Films had recently announced that they have roped in both Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff for an action entertainer, not only that but Yash Raj films current favorite, Befikre actor, Vaani Kapoor has been roped in to play the sole female lead in the movie, opposite Hrithik Roshan. Well, it will definitely be a battle of muscles and dance, all to be unleashed on January 25, 2019.
2. Crack – Akshay Kumar

One of the most intriguing posters to be released with the cracked specs but after that, nothing. No news came out about the poster or for that matter about the movie, so obviously everyone thought that the movie was shelved; after all, it was nearly a year back that Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey released the poster of their next collaboration, Crack. Though when the news of it being shelved and never happening started catching fire, another news came around about its release. It was announced that the project is still on and it will release in 2019 or more specifically, August 15, 2019.
3. Kesari – Akshay Kumar

This time it is a collaboration project in-between the Khiladi of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar and ace director and producer, Karan Johar. Kesari is based on the story of an epic war drama, which will definitely bring in a new and very interesting plot to look into. Definitely excited for this one. Anurag Singh’s directorial will be definitely at the top of the lists and being an Akshay Kumar investment it has to be a guaranteed hit. Going on the floor to break the box office on Holi 2019.
4. Tanaji – Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn in this biopic of Maratha general of Shivaji Maharaj, the most feared Tanaji Malusare is one thing to watch out for in 2019. The pre-production is in full swing and now we just can’t wait for more details to unveil soon on this movie.Though the project details are kept under wrap, we are really curious about this Ajay Devgn movie.
5. Brahmastra – Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt And Amitabh Bachchan

There is a feeling of dejavu with this one. With an A-lister star cast comprising of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as well as the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, this film’s going to rock the very core of Bollywood. Just like we are still eagerly waiting for the release of Padmavati ever since the movie was announced, this fantasy drama is also just as intriguing. Not to forget that it is already decided to be a trilogy and that Brahmashtra is the first out of the three to release is also one of the most expensive Dharma production’s projects in collaboration with Fox Studios, earlier titled as Dragon. This Ayan Mukherjee directorial is one release everyone shall await with bated breath for August 15, 2019.
6. Kick 2

Salman Khan’s Kick sequel has already been announced and this time we heard that the sequel will be more entertaining and will see Salman Khan in a completely fresh new avatar and role. The sequel is mostly going to star Jacqueline as the female lead, the official confirmation is awaited.
7. Shiddat

The multi- starrer period drama is always in the question whether it will happen or not. For now, we all knew that Shiddat was scrapped but fresh reports claim that the movie is still in the discussion process and the project might be revived with the original star cast that was initially suggested. Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sridevi, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha, well this star cast surely looks promising.
Bollywood has been hit quite badly with really bad movies this year. Some masala entertainers like Judwaa 2 and Golmaal Again did bring some relief at the box office but still, we are far behind. Now we just hope that 2018 and 2019 are lucky for us. With such kind of a lineup, we are sure we will rise from our current situation.
