Many Indian celebs including the cricketers also supported the campaign; however recently, the Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s wife Aesha was compelled to talk about racism as her son was targeted on social media.

Aesha shared a post with her son on which an online user made a cheap comment concerning her son Zoravar Dhawan. The netizen wrote, “Zorabar Son, you are black, you will remain black”.

Aesha was in no mood to remain silent and she slammed the user while at the same time taking a dig at those for whom skin colour matters as brown skin is quite common in India.

She wrote, “Amazes me that people are so concerned about skin colour. If a person is brown, black, white or yellow what does it matter? The funny thing to me is that certain people that are Indian have a problem with skin colour when logically and biologically brown skin is very normal in those parts of the world. It’s like you are only denying yourself. And another thing is that the more you deny your reality the more you are suffering. I own myself completely and so do my kids.”

She also made it clear that she and her kids are quite confident of themselves and skin colour doesn’t matter to them.

However, later she deleted this post.

The sudden departure of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput shocked everyone as he was just 34 years old and nobody expected that he would end his life in this manner. The actor took his own life by hanging at his Bandra residence on 14^th June 2020.

Sushant worked pretty hard for this role and he left no stone unturned in getting insights of Dhoni’s life. Not just his, he also took training from the former Indian cricketer Kiran More for 9 months. How can we forget to mention that he learned to play Dhoni’s signature shot (helicopter shot) to the perfection? Sushant also took training from Keshav Banerjee, the childhood coach of Thala, and brought life to the character of Mahi.

During an interview, Neeraj Pandey, the director of “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story” told that Dhoni was shattered after he heard the news of Sushant’s departure. Neeraj further added that he also talked to Dhoni’s two friends – Arun Pandey and Mihir Diwakar and they both were also very shocked and sad after hearing about Sushant.

Neeraj further said that Sushant worked hard to get into the skin of the character and even Dhoni was amazed after seeing Sushant’s dedication for the movie.

No cricketing events are taking place at the moment due to the coronavirus pandemic and considering the fact that the number of cases in India are increasing at a very high rate, it seems very difficult that BCCI will be thinking of organizing any series or tournament in the near future. However, the Sri Lankan cricket board approached BCCI for the India-Sri Lanka series which was scheduled in Sri Lanka but the Indian board has shown no interest in sending the Indian team as of now. But there are reports as per which both the boards are looking forward to play this series in August.

Cricket is all set to make a comeback in Sri Lanka pretty soon as PDC T10 League is going to start from June 25 and it will be played till June 6.

Cricket is one of the most loved sports in India and the biggest reason for cricket getting so much love of the Indians is the fact that we have won two ODI World Cup tournaments and one T20 World Cup tournament.

First time India won the ODI World Cup in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev and second time in 2011 under the leadership of MS Dhoni, the same captain under whom the Indian team also won the 2007 T20 World Cup.

However, the Indian cricketers played some wonderful cricket and reached the finals in which they had to clash against the mighty West Indians who were ruling the cricket world by winning the 1975 and 1979 World Cup tournaments.

But the Indian team was not able to put up a good total against West Indies in the finals as they were all out for 183. Recently, the former Indian cricketer K Srikkanth who was the part of the 1983 World Cup winning team revealed what motivated them to go out and fight against West Indies with full power despite having a low score on the board.

During an interview, the former cricketer said that they were sure of having no chance of winning the finals considering the fact that West Indies had a very strong batting lineup. He added that they had no pressure as nothing was expected from them in the beginning of the tournament so even reaching the finals was a big achievement for them.

However, the attitude of the Indian team got changed after Kapil Dev gave them a pep talk. Srikkanth revealed that Kapil Dev, the then skipper, may have not told the team that they can win but told them that they have to fight for 183 and should not lose the match easily.

The words spoken by Kapil Dev did wonders and the Indian bowlers got the whole West Indian team out for just 140. As per Srikkanth, winning the World Cup in 1983 was a turning point in the history of the Indian cricket.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has become one of the most popular and most watched sporting events in the last 12 years since its inception in 2008. Sundar Raman said that the only thing that was sure in the IPL 2008 was the assignment of marquee players but Dhoni was without home. He also revealed that no amount was fixed for the icon players as it was decided that they would be paid 15 percent more than what the highest paid player would get.

He also said that as CSK had no icon player, they had more freedom in bidding for the players of their choice. Sundar Raman further told that the organizing committee didn’t have any idea of how to assign players to all the franchises so it was then that a franchise gave the idea of auction. The idea was accepted as they felt that it would be a suitable way to get the players and it would also increase the interest of people in the league.

MS Dhoni has been associated with CSK since the beginning and the franchise has won the IPL three times under his captaincy, making him one of the most successful skippers of the league.

He is rarely seen in an angry mood so Indian cricketer KL Rahul was shocked when he saw the West Indian angry in an IPL match.

KL Rahul narrated a very interesting incident on a chat show Open Nets with Mayank on which he appeared with Chris Gayle. The incident took place in an IPL match which was played between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). KL Rahul and Chris Gayle opened in that match for KXIP and Rahul said that in 2018, he saw that Chris was not just desperate to win but he was also hungry and angry.

Rahul added that Gayle took the pledge of finishing Rashid Khan if he came to bowl because the West Indian did not like the way the spinner stared at him.

As per KL Rahul, this was the first time that he saw that Chris Gayle was in give-me mode as the latter asked the former to give single as Gayle wanted to play all the six balls of Rashid’s over. Rahul added that Gayle had a plan and he scored a century in that game.

Rashid Khan was the main bowler of SRH along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Chris Gayle thrashed him for 42 runs in 16 balls. Gayle went on to score 104 runs not out for which he played only 63 balls taking his team’s score to 193/3. KXIP won the match by 15 runs and Rashid Khan gave 55 runs in his 4 overs.

However, the team was not able to perform as per the expectations until the former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir was handed over the captaincy of the team in the year 2011. Some other cricketers such as Brett Lee, Jacques Kallis and Yusuf Pathan were also included in the team in order to make it an undefeatable group.

Gautam Gambhir who has now become a politician is credited with making KKR the third most successful IPL team. KKR has won the IPL twice, first time in 2012 and second time in 2014, both times under the leadership of Gautam Gambhir.

Recently, the former Delhi batsman revealed what superstar Shah Rukh Khan said to him when he was appointed the skipper in 2011. As per Gautam Gambhir, SRK told him that he won’t interfere in the team’s matter and this is his team, he can either make it or break it.

Gambhir also said that he promised to SRK that whenever he will leave the team, he doesn’t know when it will happen whether after 3 years or 6 years but he can promise one thing that KKR will be in a far better position. Gautam Gambhir played a very important role in KKR’s win of the IPL 2012 as he scored 590 runs in 16 matches, his best performance ever.

Gambhir and KKR parted ways in 2018 and since then, Dinesh Karthik has been leading the team. The fans are eagerly waiting for the IPL 2020 to happen and if the reports are to be believed, it may take place in September-October.

RVCJ presents Wrong Number Season 1 received much love and appreciation from our fans and audiences. So here we are back with the second season of the web series and hope that you guys will enjoy and love it!

Season 1 Quick Recap:

In the first season, we saw how Khushi who had been messaging all her day-to-day activities to her ex-boyfriend Rajat suddenly got a reply from his number. This was definitely a thing of happiness yet surprise as she neither received any reply nor her messages were shown as being delivered to Rajat. The story took a turn here as a guy named Karan bought a new SIM card and it happened to be Rajat’s old number which was still with Khushi and she used to message on that number.

Karan started talking to Khushi pretending to be Rajat but her best friend Ruchi felt something fishy so she called on that number and made the receiver speak out his real name, i.e., Karan. Khushi got very upset as she was not ready for one more heartbreak; nevertheless, Karan tried to make his stand clear that he did not intend to break her trust or cheat her and it was just that he wanted her friendship. Finally after knowing Karan’s genuine feelings, Khushi agreed to talk to her once.

Now we will get to know what happened next in this unique yet engrossing story in the season 2 of the web series.

Wrong Number Season 2:

Wrong Number second season starts with Khushi talking to Karan and she doesn’t seem to be in the mood to give him a second chance and all he wants is to make her understand his feelings so that he doesn’t lose a good friend. He apologizes for his stupid act and anyhow tries to convince her to meet him just once as he will be able to convey his emotions better face to face. Khushi cuts the call as Ruchi arrives but the latter gets to know that Khushi was once again talking to Karan and scolds her for this after whatever happened. Ruchi clearly tells Khushi that Karan doesn’t deserve a second chance and Khushi is left with no answer as to why she picked his call and wanted to meet him.

Khushi and Karan again start talking on WhatsApp and during the conversation, she agrees to meet him but not alone. They decide to bring Ruchi and Shukla along with them and the venue along with time is set.

Soon the photo was noticed by the Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan and he made a funny comment, “Shukar hai bhagwan ka ismein tu mujhe choonti yaa maar nahi (Thank God! You are not pinching in this). Love u bro”.

Kuldeep Yadav responded soon with a funny reply, “@shikhardofficial paaji pure 4 mahine ka badla lunga ek hi baar me choontiyo ka (Brother, I will take revenge of 4 months of pinches in one go) love you paaji.”

Kuldeep and Dhawan are good friends and quite a few times, they have also talked about the bond that they share.

Shikhar Dhawan was all set to play for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2020 while Kuldeep Yadav is a part of Kolkata Knight Riders. However, the tournament got postponement due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is not confirmed whether the league will now take place this year or not but there are some reports as per which the BCCI is planning to organize the IPL 2020 in Sept-Oct.

However, there was something which was noticed by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and he didn’t fail to mention it in the comments. In the image, Hardik is seen ready to play his move but instead of focusing on the board, he is looking at his brother Krunal.

As of now, there is no cricketing event taking place in India but West Indies and England will soon clash in the three-match test series starting 8^th July 2020. The England and Wales Cricket Board is taking all the precautions and safety measures in regard to the health and well-being of the cricketers and for this purpose, the England cricketers have been sent into a bio-secure environment for training sessions.

The series will be played in the empty stadiums due to the COVID-19 outbreak; however the good thing is that cricket fans will be able to enjoy the game on their television sets. Before the England players entered the bio-secure environment, they were tested for COVID-19.
