Global Internet Shutdown has been heavily trending on the social media since Friday morning. It was reported that Internet users will face network troubles globally for the next 48 hours as the key servers are likely to go under maintenance.

It was being said that Internet users will face problems loading the web pages and making online transactions.

Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) which is carrying out the maintenance said that it’s important considering the need for user security and increasing numbers of cyber attacks daily.

The Truth Behind The Claims

The truth is however slightly different. Turns out that all the stories with headlines claiming that it will be a complete shutdown are nothing but baseless. The reality is that –

1. It will only affect those users whose ISP’s are not ready for the change and that would be the case with very less users.

2. Even those users can avoid the impact by using proper security extensions.

So, it’s nothing but just another hoax on the social media. The changes are indeed happening but ICANN has already ensured that it doesn’t affect anyone.

Farah Khan Responds Strongly To Brother Sajid Khan Being Accused Of Sexual Harassment

Among the latest Bollywood personalities to be accused, filmmaker Sajid Khan is the big name. Sajid who has directed films like Hey Baby, Housefull 1 & 2, Himmatwala, Humshakals returned to filmmaking after 4 years with Housefull 4.

The film was being shot under his direction but now he has left it following the accusations of se*ual harassment by 3 females.

Housefull 4’s lead actor Akshay Kumar took the stand against Sajid first and announced that he will request the producers to cancel the shoot until further investigation. Soon, Sajid himself announced that he will step away from the film as a director.

Now Sajid’s sister, filmmaker and choreographer, Farah Khan has come ahead taking a strong stand in support of the victims and against her brother.

She took to Twitter and posted a brave message. Farah wrote-

This is a heartbreaking time for my family.We have to work through some very difficult issues. If my brother has behaved in this manner he has a lot to atone for.I don’t in any way endorse this behavior and Stand in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt.

Amidst all the buzz, celebrity hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani has slammed Amitabh Bachchan for his hypocrisy and has claimed that his name will be in the list soon.

Replying to the recent statement of Amitabh Bachchan on #MeToo, Sapna said that this is the biggest lie and his truth will come out. She also called out the girls to speak up against him. Here’s what she wrote-

This Strong Contestant Will Get Eliminated & Twitter Is Slamming Bigg Boss For Unfair Decision

Bigg Boss surprised or rather shocked housemates as well as audiences by making an announcement of the mid-week eviction all of a sudden and three contestants were nominated for this – Neha Pendse, Karanvir Bohra and Sreesanth.

Firstly Bigg Boss asked housemates which contestant of the three doesn’t deserve to stay in the house and Neha got the maximum votes. However just then, Bigg Boss said that the public’s opinion will be final and the contestant who has got the least votes will be eliminated. Later he announced the name of Sreesanth for eviction; nevertheless, the former Indian cricketer was not shown the exit door but sent to secret room from where he is keeping an eye on the activity of all other contestants and is giving company to Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota.

Subsequently, Bigg Boss gave contestants another shock by announcing that apart from Sreesanth, one more contestant will have to say good bye to the house and it will be either Karanvir or Neha.

Now reports are doing rounds that Neha will be shown the exit door this week and Twitter is very furious with Bigg Boss for evicting one of the strongest contestants who deserved to stay in finale.

Many people are saying that it was a mistake to watch Bigg Boss this season and if Neha gets eliminated, they will not see it any more for the entire season while others slammed the makers for saving commoners and evicting a strong contestant when there are several others who don’t deserve to stay in the house.

Salman Gets Very Angry With Contestants For Getting Physical, Says He Will Throw Them Out Of House

Bigg Boss 12 is getting more controversial with each episode and contestants are seen indulging in heated arguments and nasty fights every other day. Even more disgustingly, some housemates don’t care about laws and are not hesitating from getting physical or causing harm to themselves. Needless to say, this all gives rise to a chaotic, unpleasant and tensed atmosphere that can constantly be seen in the house.

In this week only, two contestants got warning from Bigg Boss during the police and prisoner task and they were no more allowed to be a part of that task subsequently. However, we got to watch almost the same scene during the captaincy task that took place two days later. In this, Saba and Srishty got physical and harmed each other as a consequence of which this task got cancelled and Surbhi-Romil remained the captains of the house for the next week as well.

When it was the time to choose contestants (1 Single and 1 Jodi) who deserve to be in Kaal Kothri, Shivashish and Saurabh got maximum votes in Jodi while Srishty was voted in Singles. Once again all the contestants put up the matter of aggressive behaviour, violence, fights and getting physical and some mistakes on the part of these three contestants landed them in jail until the next order of Bigg Boss.

All the contestants seem to have scattered and everyone can be seen accusing, complaining and condemning others for something or the other. What’s more, a rift appears to have created among Singles and the bond which united them so far is not that strongly visible now. This all chiefly started when Dipika took Sreesanth’s name for mid-week eviction that shocked not only Sree but other contestants as well, especially Jodis who just can’t stop criticising her for this. Even the former Indian cricketer is now against Dipika and very much upset with her due to which he points out her mistakes all the time. In the recent episode, we saw Neha and Karanvir discussing that Jodis are making attempts of separating Singles by playing games.

In tonight’s Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan will be seen scolding contestants for their unacceptable and aggressive behaviour that is making house not a place worth living. He will be heard saying that he does not want to be a part of such a show in which contestants keep on fighting and getting physical. Not only this, he also gives a warning to throw the contestants out of the house for this and goes on to say that if his decision is not acceptable on the part of Bigg Boss and he thinks that Salman is going against him and is wrong, he can throw him out.

Husband Divorces Wife After Spotting Her On Google Street View Getting Cozy With Another Man

Google Maps are of a great use for navigation purposes but a Peruvian man got to know about his wife’s infidelity because of the photos that were clicked by the Google camera car.

The man was trying to find the best route to reach a famous bridge known as Puente de los Suspiros de Barranco (Bridge of Sighs of the Ravine) in Lima. However, going through the photos available on the Google map, he found a human figure very much identical to someone he knew. He felt that a woman is wearing clothes that were similar to a pair of clothes possessed by his wife but when he looked closely, he found that the woman in the photo is his wife only.

In the photo, his wife was seen sitting on a bench with another man lying on the bench. He kept his head on her lap and she was stroking his hair.

The man faced his wife with these visual evidences and she accepted that she was having an affair. The name of the couple is not disclosed but they have divorced now.

The photos were clicked by Google camera car in the year 2013 and when the man posted his story with the photos on social media site Facebook, people supported him and slammed the woman for not being faithful to his husband. One of the followers said that it is really a small world and the woman should just have told her husband that she doesn’t love him anymore.

Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, Tumbbad is a historical thriller produced by Anand L Rai. With Anand Gandhi as the creative director, Tumbbad is a spectacle for all ages. The movie released today and is turning heads country wide.

Here are 10 things we loved about Tumbbad.

1- The Cast

Consisting of Sohum Shah and Master Mohammed Samad in the lead, the movie sports a well mature cast with exceptional talent. The subtle nuances in each character help bring out the story tremendously. Mohammad Samad should be appreciated for his exemplary efforts in portraying one of the pivotal roles of the movie.

2- The Story

Centred in 1920s Maharashtra, the story revolves around 3 generations of a family and a mysterious temple of a goddesses’s son. Written back in the early 2000s by Rahi Anil Barve, the movie is an adaptation of a Marathi novel of the same title.

3- The Production

Produced by Anand L. Rai, Sohum Shah, Amita Shah and Mukesh Shah, the movie features extraordinary designs and art direction. Shot in several locations, the producers managed to procure historical sites for their shoot that had been untouched for almost a 100 years. Apart from this, the large scale development of the environment and the atmosphere goes to show the amount of detail and research that went into it.

4- The Direction

As a debutant director, Rahi Anil Barve has managed to hit the nail right on the mark. A tale of perseverance and hard work, the director’s passion for the movie reflects in majority of the scenes being played to perfection. His reshoot of the movie over a span of 15 years in total, goes a long way to prove his determination for the cause.

5- The Sets

Tumbbad transports you to a world of colonial India where Ambassadors roamed the streets and people farmed crops for most of their lives. The sets and set design of the movie manage to create a captivating environment full of thrill and mystery with a pinch of unknown in it.

6- The Scares

Unlike other bollywood horror movies that are just plain comedic, Tumbbad preys on your fear of the unknown and mysterious. With simple and greedy characters, each of whom seems to be hiding a secret, Tumbbad creates a tense atmosphere full of surprises and shocks that are sure to scare you at least once during the movie.

7- The Vibe and Tone of the movie

Tumbbad is different when it comes to its vibe and tone. From the first scene of the movie, the director establishes the tone with some beautiful yet grim shots along side eerie music. This propels you into a world of uncertainty alongside relatable characters that you will end up being concerned for. By the end of it, you will be left with chills down your spine as you walk out of the theatre.

8- The Cinematography

Tumbbad uses simple shots to juxtapose its characters alongside the natural elements of the story. With wide angles that capture the expansive landscape of early India, Tumbbad also features close ups that will connect you directly with the character. The simplistic and to the point cinematography is accompanied by some fast paced and well time edits, resulting in the marvel of a movie that we see today.

9- The Mystery

Tumbbad plays with your morality, by making you root for immoral characters and greedy villains. You will be guessing throughout the movie but will rarely come close to what the movie is about. Although speckled with hints throughout the screenplay, the mystery of the movie is kept intact until the very last minute which makes for an excellent movie watching experience.

10- The Conclusion

A good story always needs to have a justified conclusion otherwise it falls apart by the end. Bollywood has numerous examples of such movies but Tumbbad isn’t one of them. With an ending that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very last minute, you will be surprised to say the least.

The Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza and her husband Shoaib Malik are all set to welcome their first child soon and the adorable couple seems to be enjoying this journey to parenthood in the best possible way.

There is no denying the fact that there are still many people in the society who are of the opinion that women should be confined within the four walls of the house during their pregnancy; however, times are changing and women nowadays want to live each moment of this phase instead of giving a damn to what others will say. There are multiple se*ual harassment allegations made against Vikas Bahl but Kangana Ranaut’s statements were discussed most. The talented actress who worked with him in Queen said that he used to hold me really tight and breathe in the smell of my hair.

Vikas Bahl’s ex-wife issued, Richa Dubey took to Twitter and issued a statement recently in which she slammed Kangana for misusing the #MeToo movement.

Richa asked why Kangana didn’t open up about the issues so far and maintained cordial relations with Vikas despite knowing the kind of person he is. She claimed that Kangana is doing all this just because the matter is hot in the country right now.

Sanskari In Day & Drunkard At Night, Himani Shivpuri Lashes Out At Alok Nath, Reveals Major Details

The whole country was shaken when Vinta Nanda, writer of a hit show of 90s entitled Tara, accused the Most Sanskari Actor of TV and Bollywood of raping her. In a long Facebook post, she gave an account of all the atrocities and brutalities that she faced at the hands of Alok Nath and it was undoubtedly one of the biggest shocks for all the Indians who consider him an ideal and decent man. After Vinta, a crew member of the movie “Hum Saath – Saath Hain” also gathered courage to open up about the horrific episode that she had to encounter with Alok Nath and later actress Sandhya Mridul also revealed what she had gone through because of Alok Nath.

Now actress Himani Shivpuri who has worked with the actor in several films including “Hum Saath – Saath Hain”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”, “Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!”, “Pardes”, etc. and a TV serial Ghar Ek Sapnaa has also spoken about Alok Nath’s alcohol-fuelled split personality, narrating how his behaviour changes entirely after he consumes liquor.

Expressing her views on the allegations made by Vinta and the crew member, she said that if Alok Nath did it, it’s very bad as a man doesn’t have the right of forcing a woman to do something for which she is not ready. She also gave an example of the time when she used to shoot with him and said that during the day shoot, he used to be absolutely normal and mild; however as he consumed alcohol, he became ‘this Jekyll and Hyde person’. His behaviour changed utterly and some actresses told her that they had a lot of problems while working with him.

She also narrated an incident of his allegedly horrible conduct in a flight. Once they went to Dubai to attend ITA awards and it was then that he got drunk and his wife was anxious about his conduct. Even more shockingly, Alok was once deplaned after he was caught peeing in open and misbehaving. Himani went on to say that everyone in the industry knows about him and some things are open secret here.

The actress also praised Vinta and Tanushree Dutta for revealing the truth, even though there has been a long time. She also said that the industry closed its doors for Tanushree when she decided to open up about it a decade ago, adding that women are always targeted as the society points fingers at them only.

The actress said that she knew about misconduct of Alok Nath for a long time; nevertheless, she never opened up about it as revealing such things was not in ‘fashion’ then. She also talked about a terrible incident happened with her when Alok Nath walked into her room in a drunken state and started speaking rubbish. She got scared but he was making an attempt to act smart and was saying nonsense things. She belonged to a small town and never encountered a drunk man. She requested him to go but he refused. It was when she cried and started making noises, the actor was taken away.

On the question of working with him despite knowing his behaviour, she said that she did not want her professional life to suffer just because of one person. When she joined the industry, Alok Nath was already a very big name while she was a fresher. Since Rajshree had a homely environment, there was nothing to be afraid of there. Moreover, she didn’t use to have a shoot with him after 6PM and if she had to face him, she ascertained that she was not lonely. She set boundaries to keep herself safe and it’s not just Alok but a number of other people who abuse women. The actresses keep a mum to continue their career peacefully and without any hindrance.

Bigg Boss 9 winner Prince Narula finally tied the knot with his girlfriend Yuvika after dating for a long time in a lavish ceremony that took place in Mumbai on 12th October.

Pooja Misra Accuses Salman, Arbaaz And Sohail For Ra*ing Her. Alleges Shatrughan For Black Magic

As the days are passing, #MeToo campaign is catching up the heat and bigger names are being accused. Now former Bigg Boss contestant, Pooja Misra has come ahead to accuse Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan for ra*ing her. She has also accused Shatrughan Sinha for doing black magic on her.

Pooja Misra took to Instagram and posted a series of videos in which she is slamming the Khan brothers for ra*ing her in an unconscious state and Shatrughan Sinha for hacking her phone and laptop to steal her creative ideas.

This is not the end as Pooja used some really vu*gar words for Khan brothers and accused them and Shatrughan Sinha of using her to lift the career of Sonakshi Sinha and Malaika Arora Khan with Dabangg.

She said that it is because of the black magic that Sinha did on her, she is struggling with Ghosts since so many years.
