There have not been many days when Tanushree Dutta accused Bollywood actor Nana Patekar of harassing her 10 years ago on the sets of movie “Horn Ok Please” and later she was slapped with a legal notice by the actor. The case has turned very serious and both are taking legal actions against each other.

Some days ago, she lodged an FIR against him in Mumbai’s Oshiwara police station and ACP Manoj Kumar Sharma confirmed it. He said that they have filed a case against Nana and other people under IPC sections 509 for word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman and 354 for assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty. A notice has been sent to CINTAA as well with the FIR’s copy and an appropriate action in the case is demanded.

The legal team of Nana Patekar has not responded to it so far; however, one more notice has been issue by the actress to Mumbai cops in which she asked them to conduct brain mapping, lie-detector test and Narco Analysis of Nana for investigation.

Her advocate Nitin Satpute submitted the notice in which it is written that the charges are being denied by the accused in front of media and they may pressurize witness or may even present bogus witness for recording negative statement. Hence, to carry out the inquiry fairly, they demanded brain mapping, Narco Analysis and lie-detector test of Nana as well as witnesses who extend their support to him. He also requested them to detain all the accused for conducting the above mentioned tests so that their role in the offence can be ascertained and Tanushree gets justice.

Sacred Games proved to be the biggest hit in India’s OTT world as it released on Netflix in July. The characters of Ganesh Gaitonde, Bunty, Kukku, Constable Katekar became iconic and the audience couldn’t stop but ask for the season 2 already.

Mj Akbar who is the Union Minister and a former journalist, has been accused of sexual harassment by 4 different women on four different accounts. Akbar is currently the Minister of State for external affairs.

2- Subhash Ghai

Subhash Ghai has been accused of sexually assaulting and raping a woman. Ghai apparently spiked her drink and then took advantage of her. She also claims that Ghai tried to make a move on her before as well by forcefully kissing her on the lips and then trying to justify it to her the next day, by calling it a ‘lover’s tiff”.

3- Sajid Khan

Sajid Khan has been accused of sexually harassing Actress Saloni Chopra who worked for him as an assistant director back then. Sajid who has also been accused by other women recently faces a tough time as Akshay Kumar has decided to quit Housefull in the wake of the current events.

4- Rohit Roy

Rohit has been accused of continuously harassing an anonymous whistleblower since she was 16. The actor would send her suggestive and lewd messages and had tried to kiss her on several different occasions.

5- Kailash Kher

Singer Sona Mahapatra was harassed and plainly weirded out by Kailash Kher during their meet at Prithvi Café to discuss an upcoming concert. According to the singer’s statement, Kailash ended up feeling her thigh while saying “you’re so beautiful, feel so good that a ‘musician got you’ (Ram) not an actor”.

6- Nana Patekar

Nana has been accused of inappropriate behaviour and harassment by Tanushree Dutta during the shooting of Horn Ok Please. Tanushree was forced to wear a shorter dress and dance with Nana in a lewd manner in the name of film making.

7- Vikas Behl

Vikas Behl has been accused if harassing a woman employee of Phantom Films which has since been dissolved by its collaborators. The queen director has also been accused by Saloni Chopra of sexual harassment.

8- Utsav Chakraborty

Stand up comedian Utsav Chakraborty has been accused by several women for wrongfully sending them unsolicited pictures and sexually explicit images. He has since then issued a public apology after being fired by AIB.

9- Gursimran Khamba

Gursimran Khamba, founder of AIB is also accused of sexual misconduct by an anonymous woman although he alleges that the relationship was consensual though toxic.

10- Chetan Bhagat

Famous writer Chetan Bhagat sent sexually inappropriate messages to a woman journalist a few years back. She has come forth with her encounter on social media.

11- Rajat Kapoor

Rajat Kapoor is accused of sexual misconduct by 3 different women on 3 separate occasions. Journalist Sandhya Menon, who has been on the forefront of this movement, posted screenshots of her conversation with the women on social media.

12- Alok Nath

Vinita Nanda was raped by Alok Nath around 19 years ago and the veteran writer, producer and director shared her harrowing account on Facebook earlier this week. Alok Nath denies the allegations and his wife recently filed an investigation appeal against Vinita’s claims earlier today.

13- Dileep (Malayalam Actor)

Dileep has been arrested for the abduction and rape of another actress.

2018 has been a good year for Bollywood, with many ground breaking films hitting the screen. 2- Sanju – Kamil encouraging Sanju

The scene where Sanju is down low and life is slippy away, kamil encourages him to be ‘ the lion’ that he is. This scene made everyone cry their eyes out.

3- Hichki Climax

The Climax of the movie was so moving that tears kept falling. Although the movie in itself is very heartfelt this scene topped them all.

4- Raazi – Sehmat Pointing the gun at Iqbal

The moment when Sehmat pulls a gun at her husband Iqbal made even the stone hearted cry. Torn between her duty for the country and her love for her husband with tears in her eyes sent chills down the spines of the spectators.

5- Love Sonia

The whole moving had series of heartbreaking scenes. But everytime the character was voilated, tears ran down the audiences eyes and a hard hitting feeling.

6- Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety- Wedding scene

The whole movie reloves around Sonu, the best friend and Sweety, the girl friend fighting over Titu. The scene where Titu is getting married Sonu seems to be torn apart by this. This made everyone miss their best friends and friends they lost.

7- Sanju – Speech

This is one of the most emotional scenes seen in a long time. The speech from Sanju was so moving everyone had tears in their eyes while watching the film.

8- 102 Not Out

The movie is one if its kind and made everyone learn and experience emotions that we don’t acknowledge. Although the whole movie is very emotional, the scene where Amitabh Bachchan tells the story about his daughter-in-law’s death and the role his grandson played in it made everyone cry their hearts out.

This year there have been numerous movies that have touched our hearts and left a mark on our minds. This rare period of Bollywood Films has churned out meaningful and groundbreaking  cinema that is being appreciated all over. India and Pakistan are not on good terms for a long time and things got worse when the former conducted a surgical strike in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) in 2016.

In this surgical strike, Indian soldiers took lives of nearly 45 terrorists and 9 Pakistan army men. A peace loving nation like India was compelled to take such an extreme step because Pakistan was not abstaining from sponsoring cross-border terrorism.

The topic of surgical strike resurfaced once again when Major General Asif Ghafoor, the spokesman of Pakistani military’s Inter Services Public Relations, threatened that Pak will launch 10 surgical strikes if India dares to launch even one.

He was talking to media in London as he is also on a visit with Pakistan Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa. He also warned those who have doubts on the capability of Pakistan military and said that Pak army wants to strengthen democracy. He also called the Pakistan elections 2018 as the most transparent ever in the history of the nation.

The MeToo movement is taking an ugly turn and it was hard to expect that things will become so worse in such a short span of time. On a daily basis, we stumble upon several women coming up with their MeToo stories that are shocking and scary to the core. One of them is the “Cocktail” actor Saif Ali Khan who has clearly expressed his anger and views over MeToo. He further states that taking advantage of women who have come in the industry to work and that too when there is no one for their protection is awful.

Apart from this, he also discloses what his reaction would be if any guy makes an attempt of misbehaving with his daughter Sara. We all know that she is going to make her debut in Bollywood with “Simmba” and as she will also be a part of the industry now, there are chances that she may come across such people too.

According to Saif, if somebody asks Sara for meeting him at Madh Island, he will accompany his daughter and punch that man’s face who called her. He also adds that if Sara reveals to him of something wrong said or done to her by a guy, he will fight with him in the court.

He further apologises for speaking in such tone but at the same time says that this will be his reaction for sure and the concerned person will never dare to repeat his acts afterwards. He also lays emphasis on the point that each girl should have this security so that she remains safe when she goes out to work.

Saif’s opinion clearly gives an idea that he is very concerned and protective about his daughter and no one will actually dare to do anything wrong with Sara after hearing it.

Bigg Boss 12 is going to get more controversial, interesting and entertaining as Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota and former Indian cricketer Sreesanth who were keeping an eye on the activities of all the housemates from the secret room will finally return to the main house.

When Deepak asked him about the elimination episode of Sreesanth, Anup stated that Sree was crying bitterly and saying that two people deceived him – Dipika and Shivashish.

Then Sreesanth entered the main house and contestants screamed with joy after seeing him. He hugged Deepak and praised the song that he made for him. He also hugged Saba and Surbhi and asked Srishty to be strong. Later he met Dipika, asked her well-being and said that she knows the whole game. Subsequent to this, Dipika was seen going somewhere alone as if she was hiding her emotions.

On Saturday, Yogi Adityanath made an announcement that the name of Allahabad will soon change to Prayagraj and now Justice Markandey Katju has given a hilarious reaction on this.

Katju took a dig at UP CM for this decision by providing a list of many other cities of the state that can be renamed.

His list includes 18 cities and the funniest ones are renaming Muzaffarnagar to Murlimanoharnagar, Faizabad to Narendramodipur, Fatehpur to Amitshahnagar and Moradabad to Mankibaatnagar.

Here’s what he shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter:

“Dear @myogiadityanath,

But surely that is not enough. I recommend the following further name changes of UP cities be made to eliminate names of these Babur ki Aulads altogether:

Last week, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh said that if everyone agrees, name of Allahabad will be changed to Prayag Raj as two holy rivers Ganga and Yamuna join here and therefore, it has confluence of rivers. He further said that a number of individuals might want Allahabad to be renamed as Prayag Raj and he is of the opinion that it will be a good start and a very good message will be conveyed through it.

This renaming might happen prior to the start of Kumbh Mela in the city from 15^th January, 2019 and if reports are to be believed, banners of Kumbh Mela also name the city as Prayag Raj in place of Allahabad.

As per her, she didn’t meet Sree after getting separated with him; however, she watches him on the popular reality show. She said that he made a claim of being in love with Bhuvneshwari for 7 years before getting hitched with her and she is shocked as to why he was in a live-in relation with her for more than a year at that time.

Nikesha didn’t stop here and said that it was very much difficult for her to move on from this relationship and she has a number of questions unanswered. She further expressed her aggravation and asked as to what he was doing with her when he claimed to be in love with Bhuvneshwari while at the same time dating her too.

Nikesha is very upset with Sreesanth’s claim and has demanded a public apology for breaking up with her. She even went on to say that he doesn’t respect women so much as he pretends to do in Bigg Boss 12.

The MeToo movement is taking the whole world to storm and on a regular basis, we come across eye-popping revelations that are shocking to the core. Every day a number of women are coming up with their MeToo stories and some of them are so horrific that they send chills down our spine. But have you ever thought who started the MeToo movement?

It is against s*xual assault and harassment and got viral in the year 2017 on social media as a hashtag. This initiative was an attempt of showing how s*xual assault and harassment are prevailing in the entire world, particularly at workplace.

The term “Me Too” was coined in the year 2006 by an American social activist Tarana Burke who used it on Myspace for promoting “empowerment through empathy” among women who faced s*xual abuse.

She got the inspiration of using the term after she could not give any response to a 13-yr girl who told her of being a victim of s*xual assault. The social activist later wished if she could tell her, “Me Too”.

Later MeToo became viral when Alyssa Milano, an American actress, took to the micro-blogging site Twitter on 15^th October, 2017, and motivated people to share their stories of s*xual harassment and assault.

Alyssa tweeted, “If you’ve been sexually harassed or assaulted write ‘me too’ as a reply to this tweet.”

She made the tweet around noon and the phrase was used for over 200,000 times by the day’s end. And by 16^th October, it had been tweeted for over 500,000 times. Talking about Facebook, it was used in 12 million posts by over 4.7 million individuals within 24 hours.

She was not surprised to know that a large mass has MeToo stories. Now it has reached even Bollywood and sports and many big names are said to have been involved in s*xual harassment which is not only shocking but also appalling.

During a recent interview at the Voice Of Cricket show, Malik revealed the whole incident clearly; how was the catch skipped and what were Malik, Yuvraj and Virat discussing while they were laughing.

Malik said that when the match ended, Virat asked him what did Ajmal said after skipping that catch and how he then narrated the incident to Virat and Yuvraj. Malik said that he asked Ajmal that you skipped the catch and that too of Gayle but when you had taken the position, why did you withdraw? Ajmal told him that he was in the position to backup Shoaib. 6. Paytm Mall has also reportedly done a sale of 12 million items including smartphones, groceries, consumer electronics and fashion. It reportedly got 5 times increase in transaction and sales compared to normal days.

7. ShopClues received a heavy number of customers from tier III and tier IV towns. Snapdeal received a rise of 38% as well.
