YouTube has become an integral part of our lives as we can watch videos on any topic on this platform, be it related to education, philosophy, science, cooking and humour. Not only this, there are a number of people who have made YouTube as their main medium of earning and they are having a good bank balance.

In fact, YouTube is being given a lot of importance by the moviemakers as well and many of them are earning huge by making short movies and releasing them on YouTube.

Have you ever given a thought that if one day YouTube shuts down, how many people will get unemployed and how much it will affect the businesses that use it as a marketing medium or what will happen to all those who rely on YouTube for entertainment purposes?

Well, something of this sort happened recently as TOI reported that the desktop version of YouTube stopped working for few moments while some users said that YouTube app was also not working while and several others were getting 502 network error message.

The Team YouTube also took to Twitter and wrote that there are certain issues which are creating problems for the users while accessing the YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music but they are working on it and issues will be resolved soon.

The tweet read, “Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music access issues. We’re working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated.”

The good news is that after some time, things were on track and YouTube was back. The Team YouTube took to Twitter once again and thanked everyone for their patience.

A Guy Alleged “Gold” Director Reema Kagti Harassed Mouni Roy. Mouni Gave A Mouth-Shutting Reply

There is no doubt that MeToo movement has given the much-needed courage to many women to speak up and tell about those perverts who have s*xually harassed them at some point in their lives.

It all started after Tanushree Dutta chose to speak against actor Nana Patekar and alleged that Nana molested her 10 years ago. After that, many big actors and personalities of Bollywood such as Alok Nath, Sajid Khan, Vikas Bahl, etc. have been accused  of s*xually harassing their female colleagues.

A number of other Bollywood celebs have taken a strong stand against such offenders and vowed not to work with them. One such name is Reema Kagti, the director of the movie “Gold” with which Mouni Roy made her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar.

As Reema promised that she won’t be working with those who are involved in such acts, one Twitter user targeted her and alleged that she was the one who s*xually harassed Mouni in “Gold”.

The tweet read, “Oh come on with this hypocrisy!! Reema Kagti has herself been known to s*xually harass Roymouni during Gold movie! The blinds r all over the net! N she is part of this?? 🤔🤔”

Before Reema could have commented, Mouni took to Twitter and clarified that she has not been harassed by anyone during the shooting of the movie.

She also hoped that such baseless maligning should stop as it not only harasses people in question unnecessarily but is also an injustice to those who have actually gone through tough times and some more fake incidents like this will result in movement losing its meaning.

She wrote, “I was not harassed on the set of Gold by anyone. Director or otherwise. I wish this maligning would stop as it not only harassing me and Reema Kagti but also taking away from women that have truly been wronged.”

Honest Review Of Badhaai Ho. You Are Going To Love This Beautiful Movie

Badhaai Ho is an unconventional comedy movie about a family in which an older lady (Neena Gupta) gets pregnant when her grown-up son (Ayushmann) is about to get married. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film is written by Shanatanu Srivastava and Akshat Ghildial. Let’s check out the review of this movie.

Story and Screenplay

A middle-aged Railway employee lives in New Delhi with his wife, two grown-up children and his mother. His wife Priyamvada gets pregnant at an untimely age and tries to avoid the problems by suggesting an abortion but his wife denies as she believes it a sin. Nakul, the elder son starts ignoring his girlfriend Renee (Sanya Malhotra) and friends in fear of being insulted. Things get worse when the news gets spread among their relatives.

Akshat Ghildial’s screenplay is a bit different in this movie. This goes against the flow in a few scenes but still manages to click most of the times.

Performances and Direction

Badhaai Ho stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Sheeba Chaddha among others. Ayushmann’s choice of movies has given this industry a new niche and this role of an embarrassed millennial is a bonus to the list of movies he has done. The whole movie is held together by Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta’s performances. Sanya and Sheeba have made the movie better with the comparisons between the middle class and upper-class people in the country. The supporting actors have also done their job perfectly.

Amit Sharma’s direction is apt but he should have worked on the romantic scenes more. Looking at the positive side, Amit has expressed out the emotions very well in a lot of portions. He has explained how different generations would react to such situations in an entertaining manner.

Overall, Badhaai Ho is a roller coaster of humour and emotions. It delivers important lessons to society through laughter. It is entertaining and will keep you engaged throughout.

With the onset of the month of October, the last quarter of this year has begun. TRP’s are flying left and right, with popular TV shows taking over prime time slots like Big Boss and Kaun Banega Crorepati. Other buzz around the television industry includes the news of a reboot for Kasauty Zindagi ki and the season 6 of the famous talk show, Koffee with Karan. But introduction of something new always means that we have to bid goodbye to the old ones.

Here are 10 TV shows, that will come to a conclusion and go off air, by the end of October 2018.

1- India’s Best Dramebaaz

A show where kids are judged based on their acting ability, the show features Sonali Bendre, Vivek Oberoi and Anurag Basu as the judges. Hosted by Rithvik Dhanjani and Ragini Khanna the show has a fun and playful format which was a huge hit among the audience. But now the show is coming to an end, with the finale just lurking around the corner. Although the show will go off air by the end of this month, producers are sure to come back with a 2nd season next year.

2- Udaan

Introduced in 2014, the show was an instant hit with the audiences. But now it has been 4 years and the times have changed. With TRP’s hitting an all time low, Colors has decided to focus on Big Boss and shelve Udaan by the end of this month.

3- Porus

The show is the story of an Indian warrior of the same name who belonged to the region of Punjab and was responsible for taking on Alexander when he arrived in India. Sony’s high production TV show too will apparently go off air, this month.

4- Yeh Hai Mohabattein

With few of the most famous celebrities starring in the show such as Karan Patel, Divyanka Tripathi the show is coming to an end soon, this month. The show has almost completed 1600 episodes from its day of release back in December 2013.

5- Dil Hi To Hai

The story of a business and his struggles at love starring Karan Kundra and Yogita Bihani, as of 27th September completed 71 episodes. Due to reports of low TRP, rumours have it that the show will soon come to an end giving way for newer shows making headlines.

6- Saam Daam Dand Bhed

The show stars Bhanu Uday and Sonal Vengurlekar in the lead roles, and is about a young man who is forced to take care of his family and enter politics as a last resort. The show is running on extremely low TRP’s and if reports are to be believed then the producers have decided to bring the show to an end by the start of November 2018.

7- Bitti Businesswali

Bitti Businesswali is a modern day TV show that is being telecast on &TV. The show started back in July and received mixed reviews alongside a low plunge in the TRP pool. With reports of TRP’s as low as 1.1, it is no surprise that the producers have decided to discontinue the show.

8- Tu Aashiqui

A love story about Pankti (Jannat Zubair) falling for Ahaan (Rahil Azam) and the hurdles they face when Pamkti’s parents decide to get her married to a rich businessman. The show first debuted in September 2017 and due to falling TRP’s, is now to be shut down on the 12th of October 2018.

9- Mariam Khan: Reporting Live

With a unique plot that is about an eight year old girl who takes us on a journey through her childhood, narrating incidents and important moments in her life. The show was a breath of fresh air on Indian television but is now set to go off air this month despite being only a few months old, due to very low TRPs.

10- Ishqbaaz

Ishqbaaz is a popular TV show that has entertained the audience for well over two years. Although there have been hoaxes in the past, according to recent industry insider sources, the show is set to go off air by November 2018.

Singer Shweta Pandit Accuses Anu Malik Of Harassing Her At The Age Of 15

#MeToo movement in India has finally brought the dark truth of Bollywood in front of people, but it’s just a start. The movement is gaining momentum with each passing day and more people are exposing more celebs who tried to se*ual harass them.

Bollywood singer Shweta Pandit has come ahead and has recounted the dark experience she had with Anu Malik when she gave her voice test at the age of 15. Shweta took to social media and wrote a note in which she accused Anu Malik of asking a kiss from her.

Sharing the details of the event and the mental trauma she faced due to it, she wrote-

It has taken a lot in me to open up this wound again and speak up against this paedophile and sexual predator. It was the year 2000 when I was launched as a lead singer with ‘Mohabbatein‘ (was the youngest singer back then in the Indian music industry) and was trying to get other good songs to follow up with the success of that soundtrack and the outstanding welcome it gave me in the music industry. I got a call from Anu Malik’s then manager (Mustafa) to come to Empire Studio in Andheri sometime in mid-2001. I was thrilled like any singer would be. I used to admire his music and practice his songs for hours and look up to him back then! He was recording a group song with Sunidhi and Shaan for the film ‘Awara Pagal Deewana‘ when my mother and I walked in the monitor room. He told me to wait in the small cabin inside where singers sang at Empire studio. It was just him and me there.”

She continues to share her ordeal-

“He asked me to sing something without any music as he wanted to hear my voice. I remember I sang the title song of ‘Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega‘ as a voice test for this man. I sang it well so he said, “I’ll give you this song with Sunidhi and Shaan but first give me a kiss now.” He then smiled, what I’d recall as the most evil grin I’ve seen. I went numb and pale in the face. I was only 15 years old then, still in school. Can anyone even imagine what it felt like at that moment? It felt like someone had just stabbed me in my stomach. I referred to this man as ‘Anu uncle‘, he knew my entire family for decades and knew us as a respected gharana of musicians for generations who have given our entire lives dedicated to music for 4 generations.”

She further tells-

He addressed my father as ‘Mandheer bhai’. And he does this to his bhai’s daughter? He has 2 young daughters of his own and that’s how he treated a 15-year-old minor girl. It was the worst experience of my life and I could never speak about it even to my parents. I could never ask any help to heal but was depressed for months. I cried endlessly after this incident and it affected my psyche as a young girl, so much that I could have left the industry but I re-thought and fought with my will-power that why should I leave my greatest passion for a paedophile like him but I still kept struggling for years to bury this inside me. I am sure many singers have been exploited by him as he is a known name for doing this to singers. I’d urge those singers/women to share their stories too.”

The MeToo movement is already shaking the entire nation with eye-popping revelations on a regular basis and recently fans were left shocked after “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” star Sushant Singh Rajput was accused of harassing his “Kizie Aur Manny” co-actor Sanjana Sanghi.

Sushant earlier made a tweet in which he wrote,

“The last thing worth doing is to defend yourself of the fiction created by an agenda. People using this much required campaign for their personal agenda is too much to ignore. So here is the text conversation with Sanjana till the time I shot for the film. I let you decide.”

However, he deleted the tweet later.

According to a DNA report, Kizie Aur Manny’s shooting got stalled as Sushant attempted for being over-friendly with Sanjana on the sets and made her ‘uncomfortable’. She also allegedly told her parents about it and they asked her to go for shooting only if she felt comfortable, as per reports.

Reports also suggest that Mukesh Chabbra who is making his directorial debut in Bollywood with “Kizie Aur Manny” also rubbished the report, saying that no such incident happened. He extended his support to Sushant and tweeted,

“I totally stand by @itsSSR – no such incident happened on the sets and let’s not have a Twitter trial and make an innocent person suffer for somebody else’s ulterior motives I had clarified this on twitter long back and I still maintain it.”

It was also said that Sushant lost the blue tick, a symbol of an account being verified, post the incident but the actor gave its clarification in a tweet as well and told people that the blue tick is not there in his account since September 5. He wrote,

“And for all those deliberately using the missing of Twitter ‘blue tick’ to substantiate their false claims, allow me to tell you that it is not there since 5th of September. Get your facts checked before jumping to conclusions that you so eagerly want to.”

The makers have told that Kizie Aur Manny’s Jamshedpur schedule is completed and they will work on the next schedule now.

Movie lovers got a treat this week with the release of two movies with which viewers had considerable expectations. We are talking about “Badhaai Ho” starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra and Neena Gupta in lead roles and Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer “Namaste England”.

“Badhaai Ho” is being loved by people and has got good reviews from audience and critics alike. Word of mouth definitely resulted in awesome figures in terms of the first day box-office collections.

The movie minted a whopping sum of Rs 7.29 crore on its opening day and this amount is expected to increase significantly during weekends.

Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#BadhaaiHo takes a FLYING START… Gets the advantage of partial holiday… Expected to score over the weekend… Thu ₹ 7.29 cr. India biz.”

On the other hand, “Namaste England” which is the sequel of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer “Namastey London” failed to drag viewers to theatres and collected merely Rs 1.50-1.75 crore on the first day.

If the latest reports in this connection are to be believed, the makers have approached Bollywood actress Kim Sharma to make a wild card entry in Bigg Boss.

Kim Sharma played a significant role in Amitabh and Shah Rukh starrer “Mohabbatein” and lately she was making headlines for her outings with Harshvardhan Rane. They were often seen together at public places; however, neither of them spoke up on their relationship so far.

It will be interesting to see who will be the next wild card entry after Surbhi Rana and since Surbhi has added more tadka to the already controversial show, there will be a huge pressure on the next wild card contestant too.

Pakistan’s Azhar Ali has created quite a buzz on the social media with the recent runout. It was an embarrassing situation not just for him but for every fan as he stopped in the middle of the pitch to have a discussion with the batting partner. All this while he was thinking that the ball he thinks has gone for four, without realizing that it was coming back to become a reason of his run out.

The ball stopped just before reaching the boundary and Australian fielder threw it back to the wicketkeeper who took no time in striking the wicket.

Azhar Ali was badly trolled on the social media for his attitude and lack of focus on the field.

However, seems like he is not the last one to face this kind of runout on the field as something equally bizarre happened with Newzealand too.

After hitting the ball, both batsmen starting running for the score and that’s when something weird happened. After reaching the crease on the other side and then while coming back, the player slipped up on the pitch. To the embarrassment of the fans, even 2nd player slipped while approaching the crease on the other side.

Religion is a big and softest matter in our country. You never know when and where someone gets hurt because you used the word “religion” and comes with a hammer to bang on your head.

But Love is a solution to everything and the key to peaceful existence. A Delhi based girl posted a story on Facebook and talked about her predominantly Muslim area and how both Hindus and Muslims live together peacefully.

She told the story of how in Navratras, the temples played Bhajans all day but paused during the time of Azaan and how meat shops put up a black curtain and sell their wares discreetly from behind during these 9 nights. Have a look at the complete story below-

I live in the predominantly Muslim area of Jamia Nagar in Delhi. There are a few Hindu families that live near my house though. In an area of mosques every few kilometers, there is a small temple for these families here. Nowadays, because of Navratras, the temple plays bhajans all day. However, during each of the azaans, they pause the bhajans. On the other side, the Muslim meat shops near their houses put up a black curtain and sell their wares discreetly from behind it during these 9 nights, in respect of their fast and sentiments.

The beauty of peaceful co-existence! Sigh!

Day 2 Collections Of Badhaai Ho & Namaste England Are Out. Badhaai Ho Shows Good Growth

This Thursday, 2 movies hit the screens, Badhaai Ho and Namaste England. Badhaai Ho started off really well and on the 1st day itself, it earned a whopping 11.75 crores.

All over India, Badhaai Ho garnered a very good response. On the other hand, Namaste England flopped badly on the opening day. The first day collections of Namaste England were just 1.5 crores; the numbers were super low and we never expected this.

The film might show a good growth on the weekend but nothing can be said as of now. Badhaai Ho’s collections showed an excellent growth on the 2nd day.

Here’s how much both the films have earned on Friday;

Badhaai Ho collections

On Friday, Badhaai Ho earned a whopping 11.75 crores, thereby taking the 2-day total to 19.04 crores.

There is not much of a difference in the collections of Namaste England. On the 1st day it earned 1.50 crores, while on the 2nd day it earned 2 crores. The total stands at 3.50 crores.
