Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have always made news, be it about their rivalry or friendship. When the two superstars had a huge fight at Katrina Kaif’s birthday back in 2008, whole industry struggled to bring them back again.

The matter was resolved in 2015 at Baba Siddiqui’s Iftaar Party where both of them hugged each other and it became the real Eid for fans and media.

However, in these 7 years, there has been quite a lot of leg pulling on both sides which has been a source of entertainment for fans. We stumbled upon a YouTube video in which Shah Rukh Khan is hosting Sahara IPL Awards 2010.

In the video, he is seen having a fun convo with Yuvraj Singh. SRK asks him what will he say to the Bollywood ladies like Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif so that they date him.

While he gives some really clever answers about Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra which bring the house down with laughter, when it comes to Katrina, he says “I’d say Main baarish kardu paise ki, Sorry main aage nahi bol sakta, bhai aa gaya to bahot maarega (I can’t complete the song becase if Bhai (Salman Khan) comes, he will be b*at me”)

Taking this ahead, SRK says, “Bhai agar yaha aaya to tujhe maarne se pehle mujhe bahot maarega (If Bhai comes here, before be*ting you, he will be*t me”)

So, the rains have played spoilsport at the much awaited India Vs. Australia match in Melbourne today. India was all set to fight against Australia today at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, but alas.

It had earlier been predicted that Friday would see rain showers in Melbourne, and the rain gods lived up to their promise. This was an important match for India, considering that India had lost the first T201 by just four runs. However, the stars were not in our favour today.

But don’t worry, there’s something we have in store for you, which can help lighten your mood. So, apparently, there is a Virat Kohli parody account on Twitter, which goes by the handle, @imVlkohli. The twitter profile has become immensely popular recently owing to certain really hilarious posts and tweets.

Everybody knows that Virat Kohli endorses some of the biggest brands in the country and around the world. However, the over the top endorsements can be slightly annoying at times. Taking advantage of this, the parody account comes up with tweets like this:

Mithali Raj’s Manager Blasts Harmanpreet Kaur On Twitter, Calls her Immature

For those of you who don’t know, India played against England in the Women’s World T20 2018 semi final today, and lost. However, more than that, there was another news which had broken the Internet before the game even started.

The Indian Women’s Cricket Team is a young one, and led by a powerful and enthusiastic coach – skipper duo. Ramesh Powar and Harmanpreet Kaur decided to drop one of the biggest names in women’s cricket, Mithali Raj, for the match today. In all possibility, that was the main reason behind the team’s defeat .

Harmanpreet Kaur couldn’t provide a valid justification for this major decision, and we can’t make sense of it either. Of course, this major step drew a lot of criticism with the whole country playing the blame game. It was Mithali’s manager, Annisha Gupta, who finally spoke up on the issue.

Gupta penned a post on Twitter, where she ousted Harmanpreet Kaur and said that the team was steeped in politics, and that it was the latter’s dirty politics which had led to the team’s defeat today. In a furious post, Gupta even called Harmanpreet names.

In her tweet, Gupta wrote, “Unfortunately @BCCIWomen believes in politics not sport. After witnessing what @M_Raj03 ‘s experience could do in IndvIre it’s shocking that they went with what pleases @ImHarmanpreet -a manipulative, lying, immature, undeserving captain.”

The post originally came from an unverified account, however, Annisha Gupta confirmed that it was indeed her. She was extremely upset with the way the team had treated Mithali Raj, and had refused to sit in silence.

According to sources, she also said “And we can see the kind of treatment that Mithali has received despite her brilliant performance and despite showing stability and consistency. The kind of treatment she has received is completely uncalled for and there is something deeper than we need to look at than just the statements that have been coming out.”

It is Mithali Raj who has given Indian Women’s Cricket the stature it has today. We wonder if dropping her was indeed the right decision.

Those who are working in the sector of chip designing are enjoying amazing salaries. Shivananda Koteshwar, head of design R&D at semiconductor tools company Synopsys India told a leading daily that the salaries have seen a huge rise in the VLSI area because a lot of chip design implementation has moved to India. He said that just 2 years ago, the employees were getting the salaries 3 times their years of experience and now it is 4.5 time their years of experience.

Talking about the field of networking, V C Gopalratnam, CIO (international), Cisco said that customers are facing great challenges regarding security and efficiency of the networks every day and therefore the demand of networking skills and innovation is increasing. This has led to rise in the salaries of the employees.

Apart from these two, the software sector is also providing huge salaries thanks to the boon of new technologies like AI and machine learning.

The season of Winter has started in India and the days have become pretty short. While it’s just a start of the season, there’s a chilling cold outside already and one feels like sitting with a blanket for whole day.

But do you know there’s a city called Utqiagvik in Alaska, USA which has bid good bye to the Sun since 28th Oct?

Yes, that’s right. There will be no Sun in Alaska for next two months or so and it will happen only on 23rd January at 1.04 pm. And if you think, it’s the first time that this phenomenon is happening there, you are wrong.

For Alaska, it’s an annual thing and the season is known as Polar night. The northmost city of USA has seen sunlight for only 64 minutes on Sunday and rest is all dark. Although there will be a civil twilight for 3-6 hours a day.

A few residents of the city Utqiagvik had a get together on Sunday to celebrate the final sunset of the year. As per them, the cloudy conditions in the city stopped them from watching the sunset, but it hasn’t affected their spirits from celebrating.

Well, that clearly tells the story of this big world and the giant differences between each geographical part.

Shankar’s sci-fi film 2.0 starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar is finally releasing on 29th November and there’s a huge excitement among the audience. The film has been in making for a long time and has made the people wait way too much.

2.0 has been made on a budget of 550 crores approx which is highest ever for an Indian film. Good News For Engineering Students, AICTE Approves Open Book Examinations

There’s a piece of good news for all engineering students. The All India Council for Technical Education or AICTE has introduced a number of reforms for engineering colleges, which are bound to transform the face of education in the country.

According to the reforms, training programmes for the professors, mandatory internships and open book examinations have been included as part of the curriculum. However, it is up to the universities and the colleges to choose the particular courses for which open book examinations will be held.

Is this for real? We’re pleased to inform you, YES!

The main problem with traditional education policies and examinations is that it lays greater emphasis on bookish knowledge and rote learning. This means that students study only to secure good marks, without actually gaining knowledge that would be necessary in the long run.

There is also the question of immense pressure on engineering students, with the rate of depressive disorders and suicides among them being at an all time high. Keeping that in mind, the AICTE has introduced the new reform to reduce the stress that an engineering student has to go through.

During the open book examination, the students will be allowed to refer to their textbooks, their notes and other material. This reform must be lauded because it ensures that students put to use their analytical and evaluation skills, which traditional examinations inhibit.

Of course, this does not mean that all exams and all questions in a particular exam would be open book. There will obviously be some questions to test the memory of the students. However, the open book examinations are to be encouraged since it would promote learning, knowledge sharing and innovative thinking in the students.

In fact, the AICTE has also made it mandatory for the universities and colleges to provide a minimum of 600 hours of internship for the B.Tech and BE students. This motion has been much appreciated and readily accepted by a large number of colleges in Karnataka already.

The relationship that Janhvi Kapoor shares with her half brother, Arjun Kapoor has been the talk of the town after the death of her mother, Sridevi. Recently, the two appeared together on popular talk show, Koffee With Karan, which is to be aired on the 25th.

Arjun Kapoor is quite the prankster and is always seen pulling his sisters’ legs. Typical older brother, right? But this time, Karan made sure that Janhvi got her share of revenge as well. Remember the time he commented on Janhvi’s picture if she had lunch?

Bad News For All Single Folks, WHO Declares Being Single Is A Disability

Its official, you guys. Our greatest fears have come true.

The World Health Organization or WHO has recently declared that being single is to be considered a disability. In other words, men and women who are alone or have been unable to find partners for themselves will be considered disabled.

WHO’s really controversial claim has to do with fertility and infertility. The organization claimed that everyone has the right to reproduce. And if there are individuals (both heterosexuals and homosexuals) who want to have their own children but are unable to find suitable partners, it will be termed disability.

The study that was conducted by WHO equates singlehood with infertility. This is because in most countries around the world, infertility is considered to be a disability, and people are not able to afford required treatment. As a result, there is a terrible stigma surrounding it.

As a result, the inability on an individual’s part to find a partner that would help one get pregnant in the long run is also to be considered a disability, so as to reduce the stigma surrounding it. This would also ensure that every individual has the right to reproduce.

Although the aims of the claim are noble, the statement has not been received positively around the world. It’s not easy finding love, you guys! While we’re still searching for THE ONE, it really isn’t easy hearing the WHO tell you that being single is a disability!

As was expected, the singles around the world have objected to this statement and have even been offended by it. But then again, in this case, you really need to understand the cause behind it.

1. Padmaavat

Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor starrer historic film did extremely well worldwide. It earned 300 crores approx in India and 184 crores in Overseas.

2. Hichki

Rani Mukerji’s Hichki received huge love from the audience worldwide. The film was a Hit in India but it was the business in China which set it apart. Hichki is surprisingly the 2nd highest overseas grosser this year so far with a business of 156.06 crore net.

3. Sanju

Ranbir Kapoor starrer and Rajkumar Hirani directorial Sanju fetched almost 150 crores net at Overseas Box Office. With a business of 147.71 crores net, Sanju stands on 3rd rank.

4. Race 3

It was an underperformer but still managed to earn 81.65 crores net at the Overseas Box Office.

5. Thugs Of Hindostan

6. Badhaai Ho

A much smaller film, Badhaai Ho earned 45.02 crores net securing a 6th rank in the list.

7. Baaghi 2

Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer Baaghi 2 made 43.59 crores net at the Overseas Box Office.

8. Raazi

Alia Bhatt’s Raazi earned 36.98 crores in the overseas territories.

9. Veere Di Wedding

Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania starrer Veere Di Wedding did a business of 34.6 crores net at the Overseas Box Office.

10. PadMan

Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte starrer PadMan stands at 10th rank in the list with a business of Rs 25.52 crores net.

It must be noted that films like Zero, Simmba, 2.0 and Kedarnath are slated to hit the cinemas worldwide in coming days and they will certainly make the picture look even better.

Reports of lizards, worms, bugs and other disgusting things in food items served in restaurants are common now. Its a wonder that we still prefer to eat out, despite the various perils that prevail.

This following incident is sure to disgust you immensely.

The Teddy’s Bigger Burgers chain in Hawaii is one of the most popular joints for burgers, fries and other American fast foods. This is also a renowned chain and you wouldn’t expect such an event to happen there. Right?

WRONG!

In a video that has been put up on Snapchat, a few employees working at the restaurant have been spotted frying or grilling a dead rat on their grill, using a spatula. Remember, these are used to cook food for you as well. Grossed out, yet?

The video shows the employees flipping the dead rat on the grill. Ewww! When the video went public, there was a huge uproar on social media. This eventually led to the restaurant being shut down immediately. According to the spokespersons for the restaurant, it was shut down temporarily so that the place could be sanitized and new utensils and equipments could be bought.

The president of the restaurant said, “We are horrified that a former teenage employee would conduct themselves in that way and make such a video, of which we are investigating its authenticity.” Sources also report that the two employees responsible for the video have been terminated.
