After making misogynistic and sexist comments on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan, cricketers Hardik Pandya and K L Rahul is in trouble. They have been slammed repeatedly not only by common people but by their own team mates also.

BCCI suspended them immediately from the Australia Test Series, that was going on back then. Even they were replaced in the upcoming ODI against New Zealand too. Their suspension is indefinite.

CoA chief Vinod Rai and member Diana Edulji, even subtly mentioned that maybe they won’t be there to play the World Cup also. For a player this is a huge setback.

Hardik Pandya was even seen, taking to twitter to apologize for his comments, but it didn’t go well with the BCCI. Even cricketers like Sunil Gaveskar and Harbhajan Singh labelled his comments as inappropriate.

Hardik Pandya even lost a brand endorsement deal with Gillette. His association with brands and especially cricket is now being questioned from all the spheres.

After the KL Rahul – Hardik Pandya episode, people were quick to slam the two young players on the derogatory, racist and misogynistic comments that they made in the show.

Following this massive controversy, BCCI was forced to ban the two players and suspend them in light of the recent ODI series.

But it was not just Hardik and Rahul who suffered the wrath of the audience, Karan Johar too received a lot of flak for his show.

According to people, he was the one who instigated the boys and put words in their mouth. Naturally, a lot of trolls started criticizing him online.

And this was not all, people online can get really nasty. Karan Johar has mainly remained silent on the issue. Recently, however, he spoke up on how he handles trolls.

By his own admission, Karan said that he reads everything that is said about him on social media. He says that negative criticism has only made him stronger as a person.

He believes that it is always better to focus on the good and let go of the nasty and negative trolls who spam him or slam him online.

While everybody is entitled to his or her opinion, under no circumstances do we appreciate trolling or hurling nasty abuses at another human being.

An Egg Has Beaten Kylie Jenner & Become The Most Liked Photo On Instagram. Even Kylie Reacted

Almost a year ago, in February 2018, Kylie Jenner uploaded a photo on Instagram in which her daughter Stormy was seen holding her finger. Later this photo went to become the most liked pic on the photo-sharing site with more than 18 million (1.82 crore) likes.

Here’s the pic:

Since then, no photo came even close to the record made by the above image. However on January 4, a pic of an egg was posted by an Instagram account known as “world_record_egg” that also made its intentions clear, i.e., to become the most liked Instagram photo.

The caption of the pic read, “Let’s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this 🙌”

Till the time this article was written, this photo of the egg had received more than 25 million (2.55 crore) likes.

Even more interestingly, the account “world_record_egg” has made only one post so far but it has 2.6 million followers.

When an attempt was made by an entertainment portal to find out the people behind this account of Egg Gang, it was found that a chicken of British origin is behind it. The name of the chicken is Henrietta and it said that Eugene is its egg. Moreover, it feels that the egg has achieved this milestone because the egg has strong power.

When Henrietta was asked which came first – chicken or egg, it replied, “The Egg Gang”. It also wrote an Instagram story and claimed that egg gang is just getting started.

Kylie Jenner also took to Instagram and accepted her defeat by posting a video which she captioned as “Take that little egg”. In this video, she is seen as cracking an egg on the road.

This Stand Up Comedian Slammed The Indian Government’s Approach To Meghalaya Mining Tragedy

Before I start, I am sure that many of you may not even be aware of the tragedy, and I don’t blame you. The Indian government would rather have you see Kirron Kher’s antics in the parliament.

On 15th December, 2018, 15 miners got trapped in a rat hole mine located in the East Jaintia Hill district of Meghalaya. It has been a month since then, and the Indian government has practically done nothing to save these people.

It is not even known if the miners are alive at present.

Abhineet Mishra, who is a stand up comedian, performs his piece in an empty room without audience. All quite symbolic, if you ask me. This is the amount of attention that the Meghalaya Mining Tragedy has received from the government.

Abhineet highlights how a large number of people are completely oblivious about this, and he does not blame them. After all, the Indian media would opt for stories that give them more ratings.

Who cares about a few miners trapped in a mine, right? Instead, why not focus on Taimur?

Abhineet says at the very beginning, “Our media is fascinated about other things like Rahul Gandhi winking at Modiji, Rahul baba hugging Modiji.”

He is from Meghalaya, and he knows how the Indian government has grossly neglected its duties in the past few years.

A lack of resources or even the basic facilities needed for survival are just some of them.

By the end of the 6 minute long video, you might find yourself in tears. Or faced with a terrible silence, as the truth is revealed to you.

Emraan Hashmi’s son Ayaan was diagnosed with 1st stage cancer 5 years ago when he was just 4 years old. After his treatment, Emraan wrote a book titled “A Kiss Of Love” which talked about the journey of his son from being diagnosed with cancer till the treatment.

Now 5 years after the treatment, Ayaan is finally cancer free and there is no bound to the happiness of his father.

Emraan who is currently promoting his upcoming film Why Cheat India took to Twitter and wrote an emotional message. He wrote-

When the film Munnabhai MBBS by Rajkumar Hirani, first released in 2003, it was applauded by the critics and masses alike. It was a film breaking societal stereotypes and norms and in turn bringing in a whole lot of fresh air.

Each actors including Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, was praised for their stellar performance. If you remember that simple looking boy who triggered the phrase ‘ Chaila Kya Surat Thi’ in the film, is missing.

The actor, Vishal Thakkar, who was a prominent cast member in the cult classic, reportedly is missing for three years. The night of 31st December, 2015 Vishal left home and never came back.

According to reports, that day Vishal asked his mother, Durga to come with him on a movie screening. But his mother didn’t go. So, apparently around ten or ten thirty he left his flat in Mulund.

Before going out he borrowed five hundred rupees from his mother. After midnight, around one Vishal’s father received a message from him saying that he is going to a party and will return the next day.

This was it. After that Vishal never returned and it has been three years since he is missing. He was last seen by his girlfriend on first of January,2016 as he was apparently going to a shoot.

Sources said that he was even accused of harassment by his girlfriend, which was later resolved though. He was disturbed as he was getting no work from the industry due to that police complain.

Since then his bank account is lying dormant and phone switched off. He was not identified at any hospital or morgue also. Police is left clueless as how to trace this man out of nowhere.

Senior Doctor Kissed Nurse At Hospital’s Operation Theatre, Got Sacked After Video Went Viral

Operation theatre is a room where surgeons and their medical staff conduct surgeries; however, you will be shocked to know that nowadays medical staff is using it for getting intimate as well. At least the latest video that has surfaced on social media suggests so. In the video, a doctor and a nurse are seen kissing each other in an operation theatre and it has sparked a row for the obvious reasons.

This incident has taken place in Ujjain district hospital and as the video went viral, the authorities came into action and fired the surgeon for his indecent behaviour.

The name of the surgeon is Dr. Raju Nidariya and no response has been received from him regarding the controversy. In fact, the reports also suggest that he is in Bhopal as of now. The District collector Shashank Mishra told that Dr. P N Verma has joined the hospital as a replacement to the sacked surgeon.

According to the reports, an inquiry will be ordered into the matter and an explanation has been sought from the 49 years old civil surgeon who has gone on leave few days ago.

The woman in the video works as a nurse in the hospital and this video was first posted in the WhatsApp group of the nurses but it is not clear whether it has been posted intentionally or by mistake.

As per sources, this is not the only video shared on the WhatsApp group and three more obscene videos have been posted earlier as well.

So, how many times have you complained about men nagging you? Oh come on, don’t deny it. We’ve all done it. We all wish at times we could just shut them out.

Turns out, it is not as fun as you’d think.

This woman from China has been diagnosed with a rare hearing disorder, where she is partially deaf. While she is able to hear the voices of women, she is deaf to men’s voices.

This woman, named Chen, went to sleep at night feeling uneasy, nauseous and with a ringing sensation in her ears. She thought a night’s sleep would fix it.

The following morning, she realized that she could not hear a word of what her boyfriend was saying. On reaching the hospital, the doctor diagnosed her with a rare illness.

The doctors found that she had a low frequency hearing loss, which meant that she could only hear sounds which had a higher frequency.

A woman’s voice is supposed to be of a higher frequency than that of a man. That is why the poor woman could only hear the voice of women, not men.

This is an extremely rare and condition and affects only about one in 13,000 people. This has left us completely flabbergasted. What about you?

The remarks that they made on women, was not well received. People started slamming him on the social medias and called him misogynistic. His comments were termed as sexist.

The two young Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul must have been cursing themselves for their decision of attending Karan Johar’s talk show “Koffee With Karan” as it has proved to be disastrous for them. Things would have been better if they had known how to control their tongue but now the situation is really miserable.

They both have been slammed heavily for using inappropriate words for women in the talk show and now Sreesanth, the Indian cricketer and first runner-up of the popular reality show Bigg Boss 12, has also opened up on this matter.

As per Sreesanth, there is no doubt that whatever they did was wrong but he also emphasised on the need of having them back in the team as the World Cup tournament is near and they both are match winners. He hopes that BCCI allows them to play soon and is sure that they both will be back on the field, sooner or later. Giving an example of himself, Sreesanth said that he knows how difficult it is for a cricketer to miss a game and hopefully the young cricketers will be playing again.

Sreesanth also said that there are many cricketers who have committed even bigger mistakes but they have gotten away without being punished and they are also not missing the opportunity of slamming the young cricketers. The Indian pacer is hoping that the ban imposed on him is lifted soon, whether this month or the next month, and then he will try his luck in the first class matches before fighting for a place in the national team.

However at the same time, he also made it clear that if at any point of time, he feels that he is not up to the mark, he will walk away happily as there are many youngsters willing to play for the country not just from his state Kerala but from all across the nation. He won’t be sticking around just because he is Sreesanth and the ban has been removed.

Sreesanth is also active in politics as he is a member of BJP and talking about his political career, he says that he will be using his popularity for the benefit of his party as it is also like a family to him.

Jadavpur Professor Says A Virgin Girl Is Like A Sealed Bottle, Gets Badly Slammed On Social Media

Virginity of girls has always been a topic of discussion in the Indian society and some Indian men never shy away from demanding a virgin girl while getting married. However in the modern times, a welcome change has come in the mindset of Indian men and they have started to understand that women are much more about love, respect, values and companionship and virginity doesn’t hold importance for most of them.

But still there are several men who associate a girl’s virginity with her character and feel that a man has the right to get a virgin wife.

One such person is Kanak Chandra Sarkar who is a professor in the Jadavpur University, Department of IR and he is known for using social media to express his opinion on topics related to girl’s virginity. In his recent post, he talked about the “Virgin Brides” which he claimed to be a part of his teaching on “value oriented social counseling for educated youth”.

He compared a virgin girl with a sealed packet or sealed bottle and asked guys whether they will buy a bottle of cold drink or packet of biscuit that has a broken seal and if not, how they can marry a non-virgin girl. However, he later deleted his post.

Here’s what his post read:

“Virgin Bride – Why Not?

(Value Oriented Social counseling for Educated Youth)

Many boys remain fool. They are not aware of virgin girl as wife. Virgin girl is like Sealed Bottle or sealed packet. Are you willing to buy broken seal while purchasing a Bottle of Cold drinks or a packet of biscuit?

It is the same case with your wife. A girl is biologically sealed from birth until it is opened. A virgin girl means many things accompanied as values, culture, s*xual hygiene. To most boys virgin wife is like angel.”

He was slammed heavily by social media users including his students and colleagues; however, he didn’t apologise for his remarks and said that as per the law, he did not do anything wrong as he just used his right of freedom of expression.

Earlier also, he has made such s*xist posts and in one of his posts, he said that a girl should be proud if she is virgin before marriage. He went on to say that she should express it to her husband and she will definitely be honored by her partner.

Cricket as we all know holds unexpected happenings throughout, like any other sports to be precise. Now, as we all know The Big Bash League is currently going on in Australia.

Recently, during the match between Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Thunder a run out caught everyone by surprise. Rather the batsman suffered such a funny run out that it will be remembered by all.

During this ongoing match, Australian cricketer Billy Stanlake, who was chasing the 169 target set by the opposite team, stumbled over his own bat, to create a hilarious run out for himself.

In the seventeenth over, during the series, the last batsman started off with a great run but ended up falling, tripping over, after his bat touched the ground.

He scored well, but with the leg side ball thrown by Daniel Sams, he didn’t wanted to miss the opportunity of scoring more and ended up getting the opponent a wicket, more easily than ever.

He has accepted that they have received a legal notice but as per him, he has told Boney Kapoor that Sridevi is a common name and her main character also happens to be an actress. The director also tells that his movie is a suspense thriller and they are ready to fight the matter in the court.

However, the actress Priya has kept mum on the matter and she has not said anything regarding whether the movie is based on Sridevi’s life or not.

The Hardik Pandya controversy is by now a household topic of discussion. Almost everyone knows about the kind of things he said on the show, despite the episode being taken down.

A lot of people have in fact spoken up about the issue, including Harbhajan Singh, Virat Kohli, Esha Gupta and many others. None of them support the statements made by Pandya.

Mumbai Police too joined in the debate, and shared a tweet which took a dig at Hardik Pandya. Cricket is supposed to be a gentleman’s game, and clearly Pandya was anything but that.

In the caption, Mumbai Police wrote “A ‘Gentleman’ is a Gentleman, always and everywhere” meaning that Hardik should practice the same policies on field and off it.

This season six of Koffee with Karan saw many a debut, many controversies and some really special sibling bonding as well. We saw Arjun Kapoor with Jahnvi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor with brother Harshvardhaan Kapoor and sister Rhea Kapoor gracing the coffee couch with their presence.

Now, we all know how stunning debut Ishaan Khatter had the previous year with Dhadak. He was praised by all. So, host and filmmaker, Karan Johar invited Shahid Kapoor along with his half brother to the show.

If you have watched this episode already you’ll know how these two was there for each other through thick and thin. They got each other’s back forever. Their conversation was light and breezy and perfect to hear out.

Host Karan Johar who previously invited Shahid to his show along with his many ex girlfriends and finally with wife Mira Rajput, the last season, had much to say about it during this season.

He specifically asked about his exes, Kareena Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Priyanka Chopra. Shahid replied with much respect and care, that he met them on many occasions and everyone greeted each other well.

He also added that Kareena and Priyanka wished him on his marriage as well. He even congratulated them on their respective marriages as well. Everyone wish the best for all.

Even when asked about their qualities, Shahid replied both of them are equally talented, but Priyanka is more hardworking than the rest. They even talked about their upcoming projects and how they are a one big happy modern family.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Out, Peter Parker Is Back And Netizens Can’t Keep Calm

There’s something new coming from the house of Marvel, and you must have been waiting for the trailer as eagerly as we were.

MCU has finally released the trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home which stars Jake Gyllenhaal. It is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The new movie is based on times following the 4th Avengers film, and we all know what that means. After Thanos’ snap, Spiderman’s fate has turned.

The film, from what we can make out from the trailer, follows Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland and his group of friends as they are touring through Europe.

Most importantly, if you thought you had to wait till Avengers: Endgame to find out about the fate of the Avengers, you were wrong. That’s it, no more spoilers for you.

But of course, surviving Thanos’ snap is not as glorious and easy peasy as it seems. The trailer is sure to blow your minds, and netizens agree.
