Delhi CM Kejriwal Started A Noble Initiative. Now These 40 Govt Services Will Be Home-Delivered

The Delhi government has started a noble initiative by providing the facility of home-delivery of 40 services in the capital city. These services include water connection documents, marriage certificate, caste certificates, etc.

AAP announced the same on the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “We heard of pizza being home-delivered but never thought that the government will come at home with just one call. This is a major revolution and history is being created in real sense today.”

Citizens just need to dial 1076 for placing a request regarding any service like ID cards, documents or certificates. They will be told about the necessary documents and will have the ease of giving a time when these documents can be collected by a “Mobile Sahayak” at their doorstep only. To avail these services, one will need to pay Rs 50 as extra fee.

This is one-of-its-kind initiative not just in India but across the world and its aim is to make the lives of common people easy.

Manish Sisodia tweeted, “The objective of Delhi Govt’s political will is to ease the life of the common citizen. CM @ArvindKejriwal launched Doorstep Delivery of Govt Services today, which is the 1st of its kind initiative, across the globe! This marks a new era of Governance.”

Delhi CM tweeted, “We have to change the way we r being governed. The entire administration and governance needs complete overhaul. It needs to become citizen centric.”

In another tweet, he wrote, “I hope we will be able to overcome all hurdles and soon home delivery of ration will also become a reality.”

Arvind Kejriwal has requested media for highlighting issues that come up while implementing this scheme so that they can be solved by the govt within 10-15 days.

If a person wants a driving licence, he/she will have to call and give details. A Mobile Sahayak will be assigned who will visit the applicant for collecting necessary documents and information. For the purpose of security, the applicant’s no. will not be shared with the Sahayak; however, the applicant will need to visit Motor Licensing Office once for driving test.

VFS Global, a private firm, has been enlisted by AAP for providing these services.

A UP family cancelled the marriage of their son last moment and the reason was girl’s habit of using WhatsApp more than they wanted.

As per reports by a leading daily, the family of the bride was waiting for the groom and his family on the day of the wedding but they didn’t turn up. They said that they didn’t like the way the bride uses WhatsApp and sends them messages before marriage.

However, the bride’s family has rejected the allegations.They have in fact accused the family of the groom of asking a dowry of Rs 65 lakhs. A police complaint regarding the same has been already filed against them.

Well, it looks like the case of lame excuses to stop marriage. We wonder when will our country overcome the issue of dowry.

Congress graph clearly shows that when Global Crude Oil price increased by 84% then the petrol price in India got increased by 75% i.e between 2009-2014

But during 2014-2018, Global Crude price decreased by 34% and this decrease should result in decreasing Indian petrol prices. But BJP kept on increasing the prices even when global crude oil was decreasing. This shows the kind of taxes BJP is collecting on Petrol prices.

Aamir Khan is one superstar who always serves the audience with something interesting. With Thugs Of Hindostan, he is coming back on the silver screens after 2 years. The film seems to have a really interesting plot and is made on a huge budget.

Along with Aamir, the film will have Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It’s a Diwali 2018 release.

4. 2.0

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited biggie is the remake of 2010’s blockbuster Robot. 2.0 is slated to release on 29th Nov and promises something never seen before in Indian cinema.

Ranveer Singh plays a rapper in Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film Gully Boy. Also starring Alia Bhatt the film is slated to release on 14th Feb 2019.

Starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in lead, Mental Hai Kya promises a very unique and quirky comedy. It’s slated to release on 22nd Feb 2019.

8. India’s Most Wanted

Arjun Kapoor and Rajkumar Gupta collaborate for India’s Most Wanted. The film is inspired by the real-life incident of capturing India’s Most Wanted without firing a single bullet. The film is slated to release on 24th May 2019.

9. Good News

Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani’s Good News also has an interesting plot. Produced by Dharma Productions, the film is slated to release on 19th July 2019.

10. Brahmastra

Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious project Brahmastra is a fantasy fiction film. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt in lead the film promises to be first of its kind film. It will be made in 3 parts and first will release on 15th Aug 2019.

Anand Mahindra’s Latest Tweet Shows That Indians Are The Best At Jugaad & Twitter Agrees

There are many Indians who cannot afford to live their lives luxuriously; however, they know how to meet their needs and get happiness at minimum expenses. This is because they know the technique of “Jugaad” which is indeed among the best techniques of the world and the best part is that a person doesn’t need to study from an institute to learn it but it is his own talent and presence of mind that make him a master in it.

Indian business tycoon Anand Mahindra also came across one such instance of “Jugaad” and he was so impressed by it that he couldn’t stop himself from sharing it on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

The video shared by him features a man who is taking a shower and the noteworthy point is that it’s not a regular shower hose but instead a plastic bottle with multiple holes which performs the same job as that of a shower when a water pipe is inserted in it.

The caption that he wrote is, “And as some of us look forward to a comfortable Sunday shower, let’s salute the ingenuity of others; Let’s salute those who enhance the quality of their lives in a frugal manner by recycling objects the rest of the world discards..”

Virender Sehwag, the former Indian cricketer, may have retired from cricket but no cricket fan is able to forget the manner in which he used to hit the bowlers out of the ground. Recently, he brought the good old memories alive when he batted for Kadamba Lions in a two-day tournament called Karnataka Chalanachitra Cup.

The captain of Kadamba Lions is Kichcha Sudeep and this tournament is a friendly one in which some foreign cricketers such as Owais Shah, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Herschelle Gibbs, etc. are participating along with South Indian actors.

This 10-over tournament is being played at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and the six teams that will try to win it are Wadeyar Charges, Hoysala Eagles, Vijayanagar Patriots, Rashatrakuta Panthers, Ganga Warriors and Kadamba Lions.

Viru paaji posted a video on Twitter in which he is shown hitting a sixer just like the good old days. The caption that he wrote is,

Trolling a celebrity on social media for getting momentary fame and attention of people is definitely a cheap antic that ultimately brings criticism on the hater’s part and makes him an object of mockery; right? Right!

A netizen tried to troll Arjun Kapoor by calling him a molester but the way he dealt with him deserves to be applauded.

Arjun Kapoor has the image of a responsible family man who stood like a pillar with his father Boney Kapoor and half-sisters Janhvi and Khushi when they needed him the most and proved that he is the best son and brother.

He not only gave them emotional support but also protected his sisters whenever someone tried to target them with their creepy comments online. Considering this, it’s highly impossible that he lets a troller who makes unpleasant remarks about him go without giving him a befitting reply.

It so happened that Parineeti Chopra shared a song promo from her upcoming movie “Namaste England” that also stars Arjun in the male lead.

She posted it on Twitter with caption, “How deep is your love? #TereLiye out tomorrow.”

A Twitter user made an attempt of mocking Arjun and wrote, “Is it only me or arjun kapoor looks like a molester in the pic.”

We all know that molester is a term that is not at all appropriate to be used lightly. His comment naturally made Arjun furious but he handled the troller in the most epic way.

Arjun replied, “When terms like this are used lightly it signifies lack of basic human understanding of the how big a deal it is to make sure we don’t take women’s safety lightly or as a joke.”

Twitterati slammed the troller for his nasty tweet and asked Arjun not to give a damn to such people. After facing backlash on Twitter, the troller deleted his tweet.

If reports are to be believed, the developer of the game purposely placed this message on the request of Tyler Schultz, a fan who wanted to surprise his girlfriend. Tyler, a YouTube vlogger, got in touch with Insomniac Games in May and made this bizarre request. The developers agreed to put the message somewhere inside the game and he couldn’t be happier.

Needless to say, a wave of joy has spread in the country after the honourable Supreme Court abolished Section 377, thus giving the LGBTQ community freedom and a chance to live lives on their own terms with the partner of their choice without any fear of being called criminals.

During the book launch event of Twinkle Khanna, Ranveer Singh took a jibe at Bollywood director-producer Karan Johar on the scrapping of Section 377.

Firstly, he appreciated the SC’s verdict and began his speech with words, “I think before I start, a thundering round of applause for the verdict, guys!”

Ranveer further pointed towards Karan Johar and said, “You can have as much dessert as you want Mister.”

To this, KJo asked him, “Why has this become about me? Tighten your pyjamas and read now.”

And Ranveer replied, “We are doing ‘Takht’ together. I’ll be your Rasmalai.”

Ranveer Singh is reportedly getting married to his ladylove Deepika Padukone in November this year and while Deepika has clearly denied saying anything about it, Karan Johar has not denied the news.

The biopic of legendary actor and politician NT Rama Rao is creating high tides even before its release. Since it’s a film on the life of such an iconic person, everything related to it is making the news.

The film which stars NTR’s son Nandamuri Balakrishna in the title role and Vidya Balan in the role of his wife Basavatarakam is currently being shot. Now, this is the biopic of NTR so it will have some really great characters. Team India’s Oval Test tour comes to the end with 4-1 loss in test series against England and recently Virat Kohli was faced with some really tough questions by reporters in the Press conference, and when one of the reporters asked Virat about his take on the team and whether he believes that it is really the best Indian side, but seems like Virat was not happy with this kind of questions

A reporter asked “The Best Indian team in the last 15 years! Do these tags put pressure on you? Do you actually believe you are?” Well, these questions came after coach Shastri had claimed that this team was better than many other sides which had some ‘great players’.

And Kohli answered “We have to believe we are the best side. Why not?” and after that the reporter asked him 2nd question which was “The best team in 15 years?” and that question made Virat very angry and Kohli reply to him “what do you think” and reporter said “I am not sure” and putting down to his question he answered “That’s your opinion. Thank you.”

And one more reporter asked him what was the subject of comparing the current Indian team with previous ones, Kohli explained that the differentiating factors are his team willingness to not throw in the towel and continue fighting despite enduring unfavourable results. That the same situation with many previous teams would see them lose hope but that was not going to happen in his leadership

He also admitted that ‘being unhappy’, but added that “The way we played cricket is something that, not me, no one in the change room, no one doubts even one per cent because we played with the right attitude and the will to win every game that we played.
